Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I had an excellent experience at Whataburger, and a big part of that was because of Mike, the cashier. From the moment I walked up to order, he was incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient. He had a great attitude and made the whole ordering process smooth and enjoyable.
What really stood out was how he took the time to have a friendly conversation with us about the Whataburger app. He explained it well, answered questions, and made the conversation feel genuine rather than rushed, even while working. It’s rare to meet someone who balances efficiency with real friendliness so well.
Mike clearly takes pride in providing great customer service, and it shows. He made sure everything was correct with our order and left us feeling appreciated as customers. Experiences like this are what keep people coming back. Mike is a great example of what excellent service should look like, and Whataburger is lucky to have him.

I travel often for work and have been in the restaurant industry for many years, so I’ve seen my fair share of places—but this one stands out as the best Whataburger in the county, hands down. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a young man with glasses who was incredibly polite, friendly, and professional. That kind of genuine hospitality immediately makes you feel welcome and valued as a guest.
The restaurant itself was spotless—floors clean, tables wiped down, and everything well-organized, even during what was clearly a busy rush. It’s obvious that this team takes pride in their work and cares about their customers’ experience. The food came out hot, fresh, and perfectly prepared, which says a lot in today’s fast-paced industry.
I also want to take a moment to highlight the manager on duty. He was exceptional—not only overseeing operations smoothly but also walking around the dining area to personally check on guests, including myself. By far the best Whataburger in Temple, Texas. Everything about this location is top-notch, especially the staff for sure. Super friendly and very courteous. One particular staff member working in the front if you catch him, Mike Jonez is his name, Who!!?? Mike Jonez my boy is super nice and helpful so make sure to call that number lol na but all jokes aside he makes going there the best experience. Like I said the best location in town no lie.

As with most fast food restaurants it can either hit or miss. I’ve had a few misses last year and was a little disappointed.
Thought I’d try it again and glad I did.
Everything was great today.
Had a quick lunch here with family.
Dinning room was clean and good size.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
We had:
Whatawings Honey Butter with fries. They were hot and fresh. We added some of the Buffalo Sauce to them to give them a little kick.
Bacon & Cheese Whataburger with fries. It was really good. Being made fresh really makes a difference.
Double Meat Whataburger JR. with cheese. This was so fresh and tasted like a classic Whataburger.
They brought our food out to us, and it was Hot and Fresh.
Writing this review makes me want to go back again.

I’m really disappointed with our experience at Whataburger tonight. We ordered a simple #1 meal and were asked to pull up to the curb — but realized they had everyone doing that.
The order-taking process was frustrating from the start. The employee struggled to take our order and asked multiple times what we wanted, which slowed everything down. Meanwhile, cars kept piling up in the drive-thru, and several customers were told to park — but no food was coming out.
We’ve now been waiting over 30 minutes for a basic order and now people behind us our getting there order before us.

I and my friends are always welcomed by the cashier, Mike. He is always so willing and kind. I had no money one time, and he offered to pay for my food. He has done everything in his power to take care of everyone and the Whataburger. We may cause a hassle and bother him, but at the end of the day, he gets his job done and is always there for all his customers.

The food and service is good. Unfortunately this is the only Whataburger in Temple/Belton that anyone goes to or orders, so its hella crowded; I’ve waited over an hour for my food.
And the parking lot is unsafe. The small rick energy high school kids come and loiter in the parking lot at night, and park their big trucks east west at the edge of the parking lot, creating an unsafe situation for people trying to safely back out. Other times, there will be some sort of unoffficial gathering of lots of vehicles there and at the WalMart, creating a safety problem for the rest of us who just want to eat and move on to the next errand or task.
