We ordered tenders, drinks, and mac n cheese to be delivered to us. It was faster than we expected.
The tenders were amazing. They were big, juicy, and still warm. The mac n cheese and drinks were great too.

Everyone knows you don’t go to Popeyes for their customer service but the one on Ulmerton just keeps getting worse. Right now you can only place a mobile order. But to be given this as what a wing and told to just stretch it out. No sir no ma’am. Can I have a wing please and thank you. He did honor my request. I even offered to give it back to him. Let’s talk about the chicken is cooked so hard it’s dried to the bone. I’ve been coming to this store for 5 years since I moved here. I guess it’s time to go to Krispy Krunchy Chicken till things here gets back to normal.

I am a frequent customer of Popeyes, but the locations across the St. Petersburg area have become consistently unbearable. It isn’t just one bad day or one specific store; it is a systemic lack of professionalism and basic customer service across the board.
The Service Issues:
Unprofessional Staff: The employees are consistently unfriendly and rude. There is no eye contact, no smiles, and a general vibe that the customers are an inconvenience to them.
Drive-Thru Dysfunction: Almost every time I visit, I’m told the drive-thru is “down” or “not working” and forced to go inside. This defeats the entire purpose of fast food.
Lack of Basic Courtesy: Being ignored at the counter or spoken to dismissively has become the standard experience here.
Final Verdict:
These stores are easily the worst in the industry. It’s disappointing because the food is good, but the service is so hostile that it’s no longer worth the headache. Management needs to do a complete overhaul of training and culture in the St. Pete market. Avoid these locations if you value your time and sanity.

Expensive. We had to use the kiosk to order and pay with a credit card. If a person paid with cash, still order at kiosk then went to counter and paid. Paid $9.99 for 3 chicken tenders. Got an 8 piece dark meat meal, which includes 1 large mac and cheese and 4 biscuits. Our total was $42.99. The tenders are so thin and small. The chicken was small. Will not go back. Very disappointed.

Dont order thru app and be prepared to wait 30 to 45 minutes if you order inside. Dec 30 at 3:47 I ordered thru app a sandwich, a Mac n chs and 3 boneless wings. they didn’t even start order til i checked on the order at the front counter about 10 minutes later then they said they were behind while the drive thru was going really fast. after 30 min of waiting order still not done and waited another 15 min and still not ready . I stood at counter the ENTIRE time. I had an dr appt I had to leave with ever getting food and had been there over an hour. absolutely ridiculous. no refund and no response from the Popeyes customer service.

It was my first time and had a friend recommend this, I ordered one spicy and one classic bacon and cheese chicken sandwich with fries and Mac and cheese. I was looking forward to it but the mac and cheese was cold and there was no cheese found on either sandwiches. I spent roughly 22$. The girl working the drive thru was wonderful and so was Keith, but I didn’t get a receipt. I just wish I got what I ordered

Nov2023 This restaurant needs an overhaul and a fresh new employees from cashier all the way to management. I love Popeye but the employee brings the franchise down. Over 20mins wait, Ordered a blackened chicken sandwich $13 but the sandwich didn’t came with a chicken, the fries were mostly at the bottom of the bag, no ketchup and ask for a substitute for a sauce, its additional charge! Four employee, just hanging around the drive through counter our taking a break at the same time without care on customers.
