Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Took a really long time to get our food. The runner wouldn’t say names loud enough for anyone to hear, everyone had to walk to the counter for every order up to be able to know if it was theirs or not. Drink station was a disaster but the dining area was clean. The food itself was correct and pretty good. Staff wasn’t rude but not friendly either…it was very noticeable that the place was not functioning well. They were frazzled and running around like chickens with their head cut off but there were a few aces in place that, thankfully one of them was the cook.

Very clean place. Parking lot was clean. Restroom was also clean They handled the order expeditiously. It was Grace second day and she took our order like a pro. Carl was also great. We were traveling and he made small conversation. Never been in this area before. It was nice to see the mangers fully involved and the employees focused and engaging. 5 stars!! PS.. bring back the lemon pie! Lol

Went to the drive thru and the girl was so rude! She slammed the window in my face twice! I spoke to a manager and he said he was new but noticed she was being rude. Eating out is so expensive these days I don’t have the patience for bad service. It’ll be a while before I go back to this Whataburger. It’s a shame because the food was good.

The worst Whataburger I have ever been to was in Gainesville Tx. Food was terrible. Ordered a BLT it came out on a bun instead of Texas toast, bacon was old lettuce was all dried up it tasted horrible couldn’t eat it had to put it in the trash.
