Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Easy access right off of I-20. Greeted immediately as we entered. We arrived right during the lunch rush. We had our food as soon as we had filled up our drink cups!! So fast. The order was correct. The fries were hot and crispy. Food is always excellent- it’s a Whataburger!! Very attentive manager- serving food and checking on customers.

Whataburger – seriously?! I understand that mornings are busy and the pace of the drive through can be fast (ha!) but this? Is absolutely ridiculous. If this was a “one off” situation I would just be on my way. However, this has been an ongoing issue. Not to this degree and perhaps that’s why I’ve tipped the scales on my frustration this morning. 1/2 a top biscuit is wild. You can’t tell me whoever the above minimum wage earner (they deserve equal pay, right?!) didn’t notice that this top biscuit looked as though it’s run the course through an Ozzy Osbourne pit!( RIP ) I love Whataburger, especially the breakfast. It’s often the highlight of my morning bc I know once I finish it the work day must truly start, but at least I get to enjoy this little cheesy, jalapeñoy sausage and egg goodness. Please, do better.

My burger was flavorless as though it had been boiled. My burger was so cold that the cheese did not melt. It looks like someone ate half my fries and gravy. The order of onion rings were all broken up some with batter not attached to the onions. Also it appears that someone ate half of them. My cup of gravy was a half of a cup. I did not get a receipt except for the one shown in my photo. The tea was absolutely wonderful fresh. I did not wait long for my order and the service was excellent both the lady that took my order and the young man who took my payment and passed me my food. The service is good but the people in the kitchen need more training.

Food was fairly solid, and while the french fries were hot, our burgers were warmish. I would also note that the drink station was extremely dirty as were the booths….we got to clean our booth. The entire restaurant was fairly dirty, and while there were plenty of people around, no one was cleaning. The staff that took our order was friendly, but it can’t be that hard to get all of your food hot with so many people going through the drive-through, especially when you’re sitting inside.

Waited 20 minutes at the window waiting for someone to attend us. We understand that it is 1:05 in the morning but considering the restaurant is supposedly open 24hrs we figured we would be helped. Instead they just ignored us even after we passed by the window.

Normally I am a whataburger fan but my experience today makes me question that. To begin with it took almost 15 minutes to recieve or order which did not have any special requests, just standard burgers. The bun on my burger was stale and the patties were dry and seasonless. The fries had been under a heat lamp and were not hot nor fresh. Overall a very disappointing experience. I will drive over to Dairy Queen next time I want a burger.

I have noticed a change in the food since the ownership change. Why do new owners have to think they can make it better ? You wouldn’t have bought it if it was not doing well. The prices seem to have increased faster than some other fast food restaurants. Watch it, you do not want to become another McDonalds.

PLEASE take whoever you have on fries OFF (Friday night @9:50 pm). Immediately! Not only do they take them out too early and they’re soggy but that person thinks SALT is what makes the fries. I am sure my blood pressure is sky high after just eating 4 fries with all this Salt. I literally can flick salt from my fingers onto the street and melt ice if I needed to. They are NOT ready for fries. Give them apple pies or something. Thank you

The employees that work here are so rude. The guy walked right in front of me then was talking to himself same one at the register. The fries were cold too they were ready way before burgers because I saw them scoop them up and have them sit there. Dinning room was dirty
