Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties.

Food used to be good when I was a kid longtime ago. Guess the recipes and owners changed. Fries taste like they’re from a tin can. Burgers taste like they’re microwaved or from BK. Chicken strips are ok. The soft drinks and the toast are the saving grace. Drinks are ice cold, never flat. Toast is warm and textured. Restaurant is always clean. Employees are always friendly. An employee even the door for me when it was pouring super hard one day. Way to go above and beyond. Price is what you expect for ten dollars and some change.

Spicy bacon burger meal is awesome! I used to order Whataburger with cheese and jalapeños but it always has too much mustard on it for me gets soggy. Patty melt is excellent. The majority of the time the fries are very fresh, soft drinks are always good.

I’ve gone to 3 different water burgers in the early morning on my way to work. This is the only one that keeps messing up my order. I had to tell the guy 3 times I wanted a sausage breakfast bowl with an extra sausage Patty and the gravy on the side 3 times before he understood.

Lamaria at restaurant 1050 in Euless, TX is amazing. I was having a really rough morning coming from a doctors appointment where every person was mean and rude. Lamaria, however, was so sweet, kind, professional, and upbeat. The way she spoke to me when placing my order at the drive thru was very respectful and kind. She made my day better without even knowing and made me cry. I told her when I pulled up to her window how much her kindness meant to me but she touched me so much you all should know too. It seems silly to have cried but kindness truly goes a long way when you don’t know what someone is going through and what sort of day they are having. I hope Lamaria receives some recognition and knows what her kindness and courteous demeanor meant to me today.

I normally love Whataburger and this location, but this morning was extremely frustrating.
I placed a mobile order ahead of time so I wouldn’t be late for work. I was in the second drive-thru lane, and while I was waiting, 3–4 cars in the first lane were served ahead of me even though I had been there longer. I didn’t understand why the second lane was being skipped.
After waiting, I went inside and stood at the front counter for about 5 minutes with no one there. When the manager finally came out, I tried to politely explain what happened so it could be fixed for future customers. She walked away and basically didn’t care.
That response was disappointing, especially since I wasn’t being rude just trying to give feedback. I ended up late to work, which defeats the purpose of ordering ahead.
I want to note that the drive-thru lady is usually very nice, which is why this was surprising. I really hope management reviews how the two drive-thru lanes are handled and how customer concerns are addressed.

Stopped for ice black coffee and they only had prepared cream ice coffee. I have worked in fastfood so it’s understandable unto the masses; But cow milk has issues with me as well as hot coffee. I waited for like 7 minutes as Lamania or Lamaria (SORRY)instructed so she could see what she could do. Lol young man attempted to bring me another one but then she appears huge smiles with my straight black coffee on ice rocks. MmmmMMMmmm with raw sugar

So glad I tried the new Monterey melt that’s advertised and pushed on you. “It’s back it’s great try it!” Literally no bell peppers and onions on it. It looks nothing like the big picture in the middle of the menu that was loaded with onions and bell peppers. I asked for no jalapeño ranch because I cannot handle anything spicy, and they still put it on there. I had just gotten off work, and was too tired to cook so I picked us up something easy. I should’ve checked everything like I usually do but I didn’t. That’s my bad. Also my boyfriend’s Coke was just soda water the syrup is out in the machine. Sad day. The guy at the window was nice though.

Okay , I have to put a disclaimer in this was during the ice storm last week…… We only ordered two double cheeseburgers. It took almost thirty minutes to get our food in the drive through. The burgers had no cheese on them, And they were stone cold. They weren’t busy because it was during an ice storm. There were a lot of kids inside eating, But there’s no reason we should have had to wait thirty minutes in the drive through for 2 double cheeseburgers

In a world where fast food workers couldn’t care less about the quality of their food, sending out the right order, or being friendly, this Whataburger is a breath of fresh air. Alle, who took our order & brought it to us was extremely friendly, & very clearly cares about her job. The restaurant was clean, our food was correct, & all Whataburgers need to take notes.
