It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I absolutely loooove this location!!! Not only is their food always freshly delicious and made correctly, but the service is fantastic! The beautiful manager -Kristy- is so kind, polite, welcoming to all who walk in, and is even back there helping her crew with the overwhelming rush they get here! She’s so hands on! And omg! The art work inside is awesome! I love this location! It has that amazing Texas feel atmosphere! Definitely my favorite Whataburger location!

My food was hot and tasted good. Well after I once again had to reassemble my sandwich. I just don’t understand why it is so hard for people to make a sandwich or burger as if they were about to eat it themselves! Honestly, how difficult is it to evenly distribute condiments and vegetables on a sandwich? If I wanted to make my own food I wouldn’t have came to a restaurant! And some of the staff can’t be bothered to pull their pants up and not show their butt! Then a manager and employee sit out at a table on the floor complaining about pretty much everything. Disappointed in my hometown Whataburger!

I’m a long time customer of Whataburger in Azle, TX. For the past several times that I have ordered online for pick up, my orders are consistently incorrect, many times they are cold, I ask for extra condiments & told that they will put it in the sack, and I do not get them.
I typically love Whataburger, it’s one of my go to’s for lunch. But I’m so tired of everything being wrong when I go. I chalk this up to bad management and training, or they just do not care.
I’d like to see it tightened up and have better customer service. We should not be expected to check our bags before we drive away, every time. We should be able to trust that the order will be right.
I’ve seen good restaurants close down around Azle, many times because of bad management, One of which was Wendy’s, who I also really liked. Their service was getting the exact same way, orders wrong, & cold, consistently not good service. Then they closed.
I do not want to see that for Whataburger.

Today is March 9. It is currently 11:50 AM. I have lived in AZLE my entire life and I have frequently eaten at this establishment. The current manager on duty at this particular time was beyond exceptional due to some app malfunctioning this manager on duty handled this situation, very cool, calm and collective very prompt. If I was overhead, I would for sure. Make sure that this woman is taken care of thank you again. I did not get your name, but thank you so much for going the extra mile just to make sure that your customer left satisfied awesome job. Thank you again. P.s The patty melt was much better than the breakfast on a bun 😉

Whataburger always hits the spot. The burgers are big, fresh, and made exactly how you order them, which makes a huge difference compared to most fast food places. The patties are juicy, the toppings are fresh, and everything tastes like it was just made for you. The fries are hot and crispy, and the spicy ketchup takes them to another level. Breakfast is just as solid, especially the taquitos and honey butter chicken biscuit. The staff is usually friendly and keeps the line moving, even when it’s busy. Overall, Whataburger delivers consistent quality, great flavor, and a dependable experience every time.

Okay so let me start by saying WOW! This place took my breath away today.
To the crew that worked the black Friday lunch rush, you guys are impressive. I pulled up about 11:30 am and the parking lot was full, the lines were doubled wrapped around the building. I ordered my food online and went in to get it. It took a little longer for my food (to be expected ofc)
Im glad it did because I got to see this amazing crew in action. This tem worked like champs together with smiling faces and skills I’ve never seen before. They were fast, friendly and no mistakes. This team had it together. People were having to wait longer of bc they’re so busy but even the customers had smiles on their faces and were enjoying seeing this team work as a team and not let the work overwhelm them. I’ve never seen anything like what I saw today. You guys deserve recognition for the outstanding teamwork I witnessed today. Thank you for that experience!

Service is ENTIRELY TOO SLOW. They received my order at 12:34 AM on a Tuesday morning. They’re absolute slowest time of the day on a weeknight. The DoorDash driver arrive shortly afterward. My order was not handed to him until 1:07 AM. This was for two taquitos. In that kind of time my order could’ve been prepared and brought to my table at outback steakhouse! Absolutely ridiculous! This place needs a new management at night!

I stopped in for lunch and thought the driver thru would be quick – apparently, so did a lot of people! The staff were polite, friendly, and kept touching back, communicating about wait times. Not the longest wait in a Whataburger drive thru, but easily the best handled I’ve seen. Thank you for making today as painless as you could!

Jam-packed on Friday the 13th/Valentine’s Eve we stopped in after Night to Shine to grab food. Even under all that pressure, this particular Whataburger kept cool and friendly and got all of our order perfectly right! They all deserve raises!!!!
