Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Absolutely the worst Whataburger around. The manager was the one who took my order. She informed me that there would be about a 6 minute wait since they had to cook fresh chicken. I said I was in no rush whatsoever and would prefer fresh food. After 26 minutes this is what they served me. Does anything about this look fresh to you. I was so upset I didn’t even ask for a refund. Stay for away from this location. It has been bad for years but has rapidly declined in the recent months. I’m guessing that the subpar food and poor service is direct reflection of management. After all attitude always reflects leadership.

Whataburger is not what it used to be. This fast food chain has become overly expensive and the food isn’t that good anymore. Snobby prepping staff. And Joaquin Whataburger facility is not the cleanest place to be. Also, the staff reeked like Marijuana, not something they should be smelling like.

I got a grilled chicken sandwich and it was the absolute best grilled chicken sandwich I ever had. The manager was the friendliest lady. I will stop at Joaquin TX Whataburger on all my travels through Joaquin TX!!

Great place to have a whataburger. It is nice for us truckers to be on the roads and actually be able to enjoy a good burger in a sit-down restaurant with working air conditioners for a change. Fuel, def, restrooms clean, restaurant we all love. So weather down in the area working or driving through. The truck stop shop is clean, and friendly customer service people are clean. Triple burger was good, hot, and fresh made to order. Onions rings are the best in town(beats sonics) and get the cinnamon roll, too. You won’t be disappointed

Food was great but they lost my order,stayed there about 30 minutes, manger did apologize and offered a free meal the next day but I don’t stay in Shreveport. I will still go back because of there silliness to make it right,great management and workers

I’m on a job assignment in the area for work. I stopped by for a meal after a long days work. I opted for curbside, I got back to my rv, and I’m missing my fries. I called the restaurant, and they asked if I could go back and get my missing items. So I returned, not happy about it after I’ve worked all day and just wanted a quick meal. But I went back and asked if they could upsize my fries for the inconvenience, and they did. They had a good attitude upon my return for the missing item. The food quality was great.
