My parents and I have been coming to El Patron off and on for the past year since it was recommended to us by friends! It’s fantastic!!! It’s worth the drive! The food is very good! Great portion sizes! And the best thing is, the food tastes great! Love their salsa as well! Would highly recommend to everyone!

First time trying El Patron and I was not disappointed. Was greeted at the door and seated right away. A little bit busy but that didn’t stop the service from being amazing. Prices were reasonable for the huge portions. Chip we’re fresh and loved the salsa because it actually had cilantro in it and most places don’t put it in it. The sweet tea was fantastic and so was our food. I got shrimp fajita nachos and my fiance got the steak & chicken fajita combo. Everything about this experience was 10/10. We will definitely be back and I recommend if you like Mexican foods to stop in and give them a try.

I wanted the best critic, my brother from New Mexico and great food reviewer. He liked it as much as we do. He judged the chips and salsa to start and was pleased. We especially enjoy the Salsa Verde. Fresh and tasty. He would have like a touch more spice, but I think it is very enjoyable. Great flavor, quality fresh ingredients and well seasoned.

Complete junk! Not even close to “Real” Mexican food. Taco Bell would have been better and that’s saying something! The chicken enchilada suisas was horrible. No flavor at all. They used chuncked chicken fajitas, instead of roasted shredded chicken that every other Mexican food restaurant on the planet uses. They also didn’t cook their enchiladas, just rolled them up and poured the wateriest unflaverful suisas sauce on them, and to top it off, this $13.99 plate didn’t come with beans and rice! Not that those would have tasted any good either…what a rip off. The only bright spot was my waitress, she was very kind and sweet. I do not recommend this place at all. Don’t waste your time and money here. If you are hungry for Mexican food in Wartburg, TN, don’t stop here!

They raised the prices by 50 percent. The meals are 5 to 6 dollars more each. I understand prices go up. But no where near that. I guess I will buy my own beef. Just cannot afford it. When a meal is 20 dollars each take out.

I live sampling local Mexican cuisine when I pip out of town and me and the boyfriend rode out to sightsee in Oak Ridge and to Brushy Mountain Penitentiary (by the way go visit) and the food at El Patron was fabulous!! Fresh, cooked perfectly, and came out unbelievably fast even in the middle of dinner rush.

I love Mexican food and restaurants and some places you go the salsa is to hot or not hot enough and the chips are stale etc. but not here El Patron was amazing the have great fast friendly service clean restaurant the salsa was just right and the chips were fresh and not stale. If you’re in the area I definitely suggest stopping in and having dinner or lunch. 10/10 for me for sure. Also the fried ice cream is great lol

THE PRICES ON THE MENUS ARE NOT CORRECT, JUST FYI!!! PREPARE TO SPEND ALMOST DOUBLE!
PLEASE LOWER YOUR PRICES AND STOP RAISING THEM EVERY 4 OR 5 WEEKS! This place has raised their prices YET AGAIN! THREE times in the last year! $70 for lunch is absurd! The price of ingredients has not even went up, Pure greediness! You have now completely lost our business!
Editing my review- this place is so hit or miss anymore, not sure whats going on. The food doesnt taste the same at all so I assume they hired a new cook or are skimping past seasonings/ingredients to save money. But 2 out of the last 3 times they messed up our order and when we called to have it fixed, the one guy is extremely rude about it. Last time he said ok so what do you want, we fixed it before now again? Uum yes, again! Not our fault your staff messes it up! When we pay your ridiculous prices that you just jacked up for our food, we expect it to be what we ordered.. They have not only raised their prices but their service is going down hill too. Along with the taste of food. We will not be back to this location. Sad bc it used to be our fav..
