Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Great fast food burgers and sandwiches. Made fresh to order and fast. The Mexican Hot Chocolate Milkshake is a fantastic compliment to the spicy ketchup and fries. The Monterey Melt and Patty Melt burgers are very generous and delicious. We especially liked that there is no corn syrup in the ketchup, giving a better flavor.

I got a chicken sandwich meal and wings The lettuce on the sandwich was expired. It wasn’t even green. It was brown. The fries wasn’t good either and the wings felt like they dumped a whole thing of salt on it. I will never go to this place again and tell my friends not to go here.

This looks like a newer store. The server was very helpful and courteous. He was patient as we decided what we wanted to order. The staff was efficient and we had our order within a few minutes. This was a quick stop on our way through.

I was impressed from the moment I walked into this location with the cleanliness and the attitude of the employees. the female manager on shift this morning was definitely on top of her game getting all the employees in line and giving them a little peptalk. Great job to this team.
