Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The past 3 times I’ve been here, the service is so bad people walk out. You wait 15min just to get anybody to acknowledge you and you get attitude thrown at you. I ordered a chocolate milkshake and it taste like banana. Since I paid for a chocolate milkshake I went back up, and said something and the lady told me your suppose to eat it with a straw and you’re also supposed to drink it from the bottom up…. At this point don’t even want it. So don’t go here

I’m not sure the young man’s name because he had a hi-vis vest on. However, he had a little longer hair that was highlighted. On the freaking ball!!! Best charismatic and magnificent demeanor! Just a joyful interaction! I find this location has a ton of great employees, but this individual took it to the next level.

We ordered 2 large fries to go. After about 20 minutes of not getting our fries I went to check since it wasn’t very busy. I feel like they must have just forgotten about our order because we were told it was going to take a minute. After a 30 minute wait we got our fries. So if you want to wait that long for some fries this is the place. The guy that checked us out was also extremely rude. Our visit here was very disappointing.

Food took 15+ minutes, only chicken sandwich was hot. Ice tea had no ice left, was melted when I got it. Whataburger is typically really good, and does take longer than most fast food places, but typically worth it.

Worst experience! Payed for 2 patty mealt meals and was given one. Called back to inform the manager and was transferred to the “assistant manager” who took down my receipt number and other information and was told my name was on a list and i could pick up a replacement meal whenever at the same location. I asked what i needed to bring and she said nothing because my name was on the list. I show up and a manager tells me without receipt i could not get the meal. What a scam!
