It was Saturday afternoon and downtown Blue Ridge was crowded with fall visitors and locals. We had a 20 minute wait; the place was packed. The atmosphere was very loud with chattering of the people and echoing. We could barely hear ourselves talk (it was the acoustics of the building). It took FOREVER to be greeted and served. The food came out another long wait – about 20 minutes- just for sandwiches. However, the food was delicious and for that, I will most likely return in hopes for better service. I had the Hot Roast Beef with Pepper Jack and a side of pasta salad. It was very tasty and flavorful.

The best chicken salad sandwich I’ve had in a very long time. My husband got the Reuben and loved it too! We both agreed about how sad we would be once we were done with our sandwiches because of how delicious they were. Can’t recommend this place enough!

This place is in a good location on Main Street.
Friendly, helpful staff, though they got my order wrong.
Average food.
Cakes looked very good and my friend enjoyed his coconut cake.
Parking can be problematic at peak dining hours, but that’s to be expected in downtown areas.
Tomato Basil soup looks great, but it was much too sweet for my taste.
I enjoyed my BLT. Lots of bacon and tender toast.

Food was terrible. Soup over cooked !! I didn’t know you could do that! It was way too thick for chicken and rice…like eating gravy…disgusting.
The roast beef wasnt cut thin like a deli…super thick dumped on a soft hoagie instead of baguette as menu listed. I was hoping for a nice deli sandwich.
And the pickle even looked gross…like it came off a previous order! look at it!! ick
i didnt eat but a bite each and i’m truly not a complainer normally. i would have liked it comp’d …oh, and ice tea was weak. Dang.
i feel cheated for my $15

My husband and I talked about the food we got here the whole time we were in BR! My sandwich was packed full of meat and the chicken and wild rice soup to go with it was the perfect combo on a cold day! Would have eaten here everyday but we were trying to branch out and try all of the restaurants on our list while in town! GO HERE you won’t be disappointed!

Visited Blue ridge over the weekend and found a new restaurant Cantaberry to have lunch. They serve very large portions but everything tasted delicious . Will definitely go back.

I was pleasantly surprised with our meal today. Wanted soup and sandwich on this cold and decided to try Cantaberry in Blue Ridge. Parking is tricky but worth it. I had the Cantaberry sandwhich, pasta salad and wild rice, and chicken soup. Yummy. The server was sweet and attentive.

Right off the bat, this was some of the best tomato soup I’ve ever had. It had a rich, creamy, and savory flavor. I got the Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich. The Avocado was fresh, bacon was crispy, and the bread was soft! Service was great as well. They have a good variety of sandwiches as well, the soups are homemade also! This is a great place and I will definitely be coming back here to eat again!

This is such a hidden gem! The food was amazing! I highly recommend the Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich and the Loaded Baked Potato Salad! I think it was the best potato salad I have ever had. The only problem I had was it took a while for the food, but it was busy so that might have been why. Go there if you want a great sandwich!
