Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This is probably the coolest Whataburger ever! They rock a 1950’s vibe with Elvis and Marilyn, classic cars, a guitar collection, and more. So it’s a fun stop.
The food? Well, this Whataburger holds the standard high. The fries were hot and crispy, and my burger was stacked. Delicious!
The service was very good, efficient and friendly.
Of course, I arrived late (this location is open 24/7) and was the only customer for a few minutes. I took the opportunity to take a few extra pictures to share.

I just recently moved to Texas and this was my first trip to Whataburger. The the lady at the front desk was wonderful impatient I ended up going with a Double Whatameal adding grilled onions mayonnaise and ketchup. This was an amazing experience and I do look forward to coming back and the food was wonderful. They got the order right and everything was hot and fresh definitely exceeded the lack of expectations I had going into this for the first time of course… Great job WhatATeam

Everytime I go here the overnight crew messes up my order. The onions rings and French fries are always burnt. We wait 20 minutes for cold burnt food and the girl at the windows is rude as hell. Shes to worried about everything but her job apparently. And she never gives a receipt so you can not make a complaint with her name. No customer service at all. Mid orderi g and she stops responding

I went there this morning and there were around five cars in front of me. When I got up to order, she said she was not able to take my order because they were short staffed and said bye then why are there five people in front of me waiting for their order? Very unprofessional .

Its always amazing here but today around 12 noon the manager went around the restaurant and greeted everyone and i was gone ask him about a franchise opportunity who would i need to reach out to. But he passed me 2x and never acknowledged me. As well as all the other caucasian workers minus 2. I commend you. Now i will come back just not as happy bc in 2019 i still have to worry about my skin tone. Sad. Now other families where talking and people where on there phone and he still spoke to them. I mean damn i only got a drink and irs not good enough. Dk investments can look at the time stamp of this message ans look at his actions. I love Whataburger but damn. God bless.

They can’t get the order right at all. They added cheese to my burger and I’m lactose intolerant. The Pattie’s were old and so were the fries. Huge wast of my money and the meals aren’t cheap. I tried to call but no one wants to answer the phone so I am leaving this review maybe they will wake up. No one else was waiting in their food they were not busy at all to mess my ride up and severe me old stale food.

We come here for breakfast a lot and wish they had breakfast kid meals. This place will make my some anyone pancake meal w 2 stips of bacon.. more recently they made it in tje shape of ,ickey mouse (see photo)
Dine in with Fast and friendly service.. hot fresh food.. spicy chicken sandwich lives up to its name. The limited raspberry milkshake is only ok.

Honestly I’m not one to ever write reviews but every time I come to this location they always somehow mess up my order or forget to put something or charge me wrong, it gets annoying and any time I ask for to get my order fix it seems to inconvenience them
