Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

As always, food is cooked to order, and I always visit early in the morning on Sunday. Because customer traffic is very slow, it’s usually very quiet. PLUS! The restroom is ALWAYS CLEAN. All in all, it just depends on you, but I enjoy it.

I stopped in for a cup of coffee in between Dr visits today and paid $5.11 for 2 small coffees that were so nasty we could not drink them. The cashier tried to offer a senior discount but the Managing Partner said he couldn’t. This is ridiculous! I will never go back to this location again.

This was a great dinning experience. I’ve eaten at Whataburger restaurants all across Texas but never had this type of experience. Everyone knew each other and they were all so excited to see some new people come in for breakfast. The locals were so kind! People were seated all around the dinning area but having 1 large conversation. We got to know all of the “regulars” who eat there every morning. Such a warm and welcoming place. All of The employees were very kind and they brought your food to the table. It was spotless, extremely clean throughout the entire restaurant. The food was on point, fresh and cooked just right. We met a 91 yr old man and his wife who’ve been married 73 years (they started dating in 8th grade)if you are there at breakfast they will greet you and share their story . Excellent service, atmosphere, and food, drop by, you won’t regret it!

Amelia , was very rude when we told her that our order was wrong. Please don’t be rude, just relax and listen to the customer. My husband did say he wanted 2 pancake platters and a scrambled egg platter. She brought out 3 scrambled egg platters. Then she says she repeated the order like this …you want 3 scrambled egg platters and not pancakes? Now does that really sound like it is my husband’s fault? If you heard pancakes, then why didn’t you put that in and repeat that order, which would have been right. Also when we left she hunkered down behind the counter so she wouldn’t be able to say “have a nice day!” Do better and listen to the customer.
