Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The food is definitely not the same as it was yrs ago! It’s almost lost all its flavor! The fried lemon pies r gone and replaced with what other ff place have: apple. Service was fast, but the crew looked miserable.

How often can you give a fast food restaurant 5 stars? Everything here was as it should be. There wasn’t a spec of dust. The bathroom was freshly mopped. The customer service was refreshing. Think “Chick-fil-A” service. Is it this way every day? I can’t attest to that. However, they seemed very comfortable in how they operate. This is a good, clean pit stop place if you’re traveling.

This is one of the most unique Whataburgers I have ever visited. When you first walk in you will notice all the guitars hanging on the walls. There are also several pieces of music and recording studio memorabilia on the walls. Just a neat place to eat. As for the service and food, both were great. The food was delicious and we had a great time eating lunch here. Definitely worth the stop.

Ordered ahead and order was not delivered to car until over 20 minutes after the order pick up time. (Pick up tine was 6:28 pm, received food after 6:48pm). Multiple other cars ordered at the restaurant and ordered, paid and received their food during this time. When I asked the young lady who was delivering food to a vehicle behind me why my food was not ready and i had been waiting 20 minutes. She very rudely said “well, we are busy and you have a large order.” My order was $30,(for 2 people). My sister was picking up a $48 order (for 3 people) as well. I cannot imagine that this would be such a complication to take an additional 20 minutes. A simple “I’m sorry about that, let me check” would have been an appropriate response.

I’m gonna place this review before I even get my food. Whataburger is typically quite reliable. I have never been in one with a more fun, nostalgic atmosphere. The staff is quite friendly, also!
