Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Have been to this location a few times, various times and crews, and is usually good. Polite, even when busy, and is clean inside. Lately, though, make sure you check your order. They’re accurate with charging you but have been constantly failing to pack the full order regardless of the obvious ticket attached to the bag. What does get received has been accurately made to order so far but drive-thru beware…

Today wasn’t a good day here. Besides the long wait, the older woman at the counter was extremely agitated; she was even shouting, perhaps because everything was moving so slowly, but it wasn’t pleasant to have her raise her voice at me too. Other than that, all the other employees were very friendly.

Tried to use coupon in the APP for a free chicken sandwich when you purchase a fry and a drink.
Bought the fry and drink and tapped to redeem the coupon.
They charged me for 2 fries and 2 drinks with my free chicken sandwich.
I tried to explain what the issue was when I went to go pick up the order. The manager jaylen said she couldn’t do anything about it and gave me the number for APP support. I asked her if she could just issue a refund a refund for 1 fry and 1 drink at the store and for some reason – she couldn’t do that ♀️ even though I was sure to let her know that I picked up no food from the order.
Called the number and explained what happened. The rep said that she would put in to cancel the transaction with upper managers. She couldn’t tell me when I should expect a refund. I was sure to let the rep know that no part of my order was picked up.
SO I WON’T BE RETURNING TO WATABURGER. I never eat here anyway. I just wanted to give them a try because they were offering a “free chicken sandwich”
♀️all that advertising money spent to get new customers…. completely WASTED.
I Don know why it’s so hard to understand 1 fry, 1 drink and a free chicken sandwich and why an on duty manager was unable to solve a very simple issue.
I left the oder there and never picked up anything. The transaction is pending on my card at the moment. If it post to my account _ I’ll just dispute the charge since I received nothing from the order.

I went down the road and got a double cheeseburger and fries from McDonald’s using their APP and thier coupon and paid less than $3. Was served to me curbside in less than 5min.

Ordered in the late afternoon. Order was canceled by Whataburger in the evening because they had not planned on a late parade. Won’t waste my time with a company who completely disrespects their customers. They are a generic burger company putting on airs.

After a long night drive through dark east Texas roads you pull up starving ready to get some food then it hits you Boom 10 billion watts of light beaming in my car blinding me melting my eyes. Luckily I have my order memorized. My 2nd eye surgery is scheduled next week, but that was a damn good sweet and spicy bacon burger.

Atmosphere was decent given we came in when the lobby was full with a school bus. They did over cook our fries but Kathy handled everything for us and made sure we were taken care of! She was very nice!

The cleanest store i have ever been in, the customer Service is somehow awesome evertime, hats off to management they are doing a great job, training the crew. The food is always good. A little expensive but worth it.
