Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This was the worst! I am not a frequent fast food visitor but I have been to another franchise location but this one and to go thru the drive thru to get a burger and onion rings from this location it was absolutely disgusting & to be charged 7.12 for a small onion ring and regular cheese burger & no drink to have it looking flat and presented to a patron in this condition is not how a food establishment is supposed to let food go out. Management for this location needs to be aware and your employee running the window needs to be trained better. Not visiting this establishment location or franchise anymore!! They’re will be much better choices taking front place ahead of you so your junk fast food will be left in the dust!

I wanted to share my recent experience at Whataburger store #1412 which is very close to my husband’s workplace and our home in Sherman, TX.
Last night, I was just too tired to cook, so we picked up an order of two Bacon Cheeseburgers and onion rings. I am gluten sensitive and cannot eat the bun as it contains wheat. We ordered online, and app allows you to customize your sandwiches, I was able to ask for no bun. My husband’s was perfect just way they made it. And they have the BEST onion rings in the fast food world. My sandwich? OMG, it was so good! Fresh toppings, burger was still warm, the lettuce crisp and the onions/tomatoes were ripe and flavorful.
The staff here is some of the best! Very kind, and service with a smile – especially Lauren! The trip through the drive-through was FAST. This was an improvement from the last time we had ordered here. I can’t think of anything that needed improvement this trip. Thanks again!

Food was cold the first time I ordered. Gave them another chance, same thing, then I gave them a third chance (dumb) Aaaaand it was cold and stiff when I got it :^)
Oh and dont pay for a large fry becaaause they’ll fill it literally 1/3 of the way lol (i took the pic before i even touched it). I almost never leave reviews, especially bad ones. But this place was worthy of a Karen type review.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this is the 4th or 5th time we’ve come to the “new” Whataburger and been extremely disappointed. They are 100% relying on the kiosk to take your order. While we were using it a man sat at the counter for over 10 minutes before even being acknowledged by staff. We had 3 meals and waited over 30 minutes before even receiving our cups or food. The place was empty so there was no reason for it to take as long as a sit down restaurant. Then we got our food and my daughter and I bought order the honey bbq chkn strip sandwich the way it comes with the Texas toast bread and it still had a regular hamburger bun on it. Food was subpar and not even hot. Fries were the best thing on our plates. Do better @whataburger

Placed a to go order. Arrived at the time of pick up and stood inside. There was only 1 other customer waiting, no one in the drive thru. My order wasn’t ready until 25 minutes after my pick up time. This isn’t our first bad experience here. Management needs to change!

Every time i go here, Nathan makes my burgers to perfection. Jaw dropping. My taste buds get so excited every time i pull up to this location. I would do anything for him to make my burgers every time. I would give him my first born child if that’s what it took. someone please give me his number. i will take him home so he can make my burgers for life. Nathan needs a raise. He needs an award. I’ve never tasted a burger so heavenly in my entire life. He is an amazing asset to this company.

The patty melt with bacon is a MUST. Everytime I go there it’s so good and they make it perfectly, the entire management staff is so sweet and will get anything you need taken care of, specially Tucker, plz don’t leave this whataburger tuck tuck
