Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Our group enjoyed Texas favorites like the Whataburger with cheese, Patty Melt, spicy ketchup with crispy fries, and thick, creamy Dr. Pepper milkshakes that absolutely hit the spot.

My besties and I decided to grab some fat, delicious burgers after a night out. Whataburger never disappoints. The spicy ketchup, crunchy fries, an extra large Coke, and a cookie to finish it off, it was the best.

I’m looking at all the reviews and the place never responds… Like they don’t care or they know they suck so why bother.
Asked for grilled onions and jalapeños, didn’t get neither even though my receipt states so. Meat tasted days old and the double meat burger was like one and a quarter. Fries were nasty and limper than an old man’s junk. Over $22 for two burgers and one large order of fries. I’ll never order food from here again. Terrible.

Visiting the area and stopped by this Whataburger, so glad I did. The food came out hot and fresh, the burger was really good, and the staff was welcoming and patient while I figured out what to order. Great impression and definitely a spot I’d come back to if I’m in town again.

Place order today for a simple breakfast burger the cashier managed to add extra cheese a sausage patty and jalapeños without me asking. Brought me my food in the diner missing a small fry the cashier didn’t give us our drinks. Then top it off they brought my food out on a dirty tray that had ketchup all over it. I’m never eating here again

This is the worst Whataburger in the area. The food is subpar. I ordered pancakes that were still raw on the inside. I ordered a sausage bob that had a piece of the sausage missing. They ask me what condiments I need but never include them. I don’t know why I keep giving them another chance. I’m done this time I will ride down to Custer and 121 from now on.

The hiring of the new Whataburger frontline staff at this location, how can I put it delicately, ….they are below par when it comes to productivity, critical thinking, and drive. You WILL wait 15min minimum, at the drive thru, AFTER you put your order in, at this location. I have driven off after 15min of waiting on four different days, all in the evenings after 8pm. Not worth it. Just go to Culvers 1 mile down the road. Much faster service and better quality. Smarter staff.

The food was good but the cashier was extremely rude. I’m very patient and understanding with fast food workers but immediately the girl gave me attitude and sass. Her tone was very demeaning and it seemed like her doing her work was a big inconvenience. She rolled her eyes at me when I asked for condiments.
