After a long day, I stopped for a night cap of my favorite hot fresh cup of decaf and a seasonal treat. I NEVER go to this location because it is very far from my home but because I was routed off of the freeway due to an accident I ended up passing here and I decided to stop. I must say, I am so thankful that I did. I was greeted by the sweetest most professional young lady, MS. AMYAH! She was serving with a smile and her kind greeting wishing me a good safe evening was heart warming. I had to take the time to appreciate her and I wish there were more customer service representatives just like, Amyah. Thank God for people who take pride in doing an excellent job and being kind in a world that is so cruel.

If I could give zero stars or negative stars to the customer service at this location I would. I rarely ever write reviews unless its necessary & in my opinion today’s actions calls for it.

This is my go to spot as I work right down the street. There are only 2 people who work at this location that seem to take their job seriously & are lively, happy, ready to serve you. The rest need more training when it comes to hospitality.

Today I ordered my usual – Iced Latte with Oat Milk, Vanilla Flavor & Whip cream.
Once I got to the office at work I realized they did not use Oat Milk & instead used Almond Milk. Well, I am allergic to almonds. So I called & spoke with whom is sounded like to be the manager on duty. He was very kind & considerate wanting to help me out & remake my coffee the correct way. I called back not even 10minutes later letting him know I’ll be on my way for the new coffee shortly, he went over my order again with me & said it would be ready.

I get to starbucks, drive up to the windows & get met with “& what was your order?” I told them I called it in & just spoke with the manager. I was asked if there was a name on the order. I explained mine was the one that just got messed up & some girl came to the window exclaiming to me that I should have stopped at the drive through speaker to let them know I was there because they wont make the coffee just because I called it in… when I had spoke to the manager & thats what was told to me. She then would NOT take the old coffee just to throw it away for me… little does she know people with nut allergies it can be airborne & she should have taken the coffee & tossed it, no matter the “health code”. I come from hospitality, I served for 14+ years, never would I have turned down throwing something out for a customer ESPECIALLY if it was made incorrectly the first time & there’s also a food allergy?!

I will be finding a new regular spot for me to visit- it now makes sense with all the other reviews for this Oak Park location.

I’m a regular here cause I live down the street. I’ll just start going to a different location cause I order the same coffee every time and only 1 person in there makes it right. Today I don’t know who made my coffee but it tastes like toilet water and that was it for me.

This store was slow and used to be long line. But now I can see it’s pretty quick.
However they don’t have consistency. Sometimes great coffee and sometimes garbage.
Today the cappuccino I got was horrible. They remake yet it was even worst.

Ordered food in the drive thru, it’s 5am… asked the worker at the window to remake something that didn’t look right. Said please and thank you multiple times, each time she looked at me like I was crazy. Didn’t say a word back to me… If you have an attitude 45 minutes into your shift then you need another job. Definitely lost any tip that would’ve came your way

This morning I placed a mobile order for this location, and the app confirmed it would be ready by 9:05. When I arrived at the drive-thru at 9:03 and informed the cashier I was picking up a mobile order, she told me it wasn’t ready and that I’d need to park and come inside in 10 minutes. Her explanation was that they were too busy with other orders, which was frustrating because if I had ordered directly at the drive-thru at 9:03, my order would likely have been prepared by the time I reached the window. Instead, I was told to wait unnecessarily.

There were five cars ahead of me, so it’s clear they had time to prepare my simple order—a muffin and a hot chocolate. I left, processed a refund through the app, and will not be returning to this location. The handling of this order reflected poor service and a lack of customer care.

I stopped in this morning, it was a very busy morning with a long line in the drive-thru and busy inside as well. However, the service was very fast and the employee named Mike, greeted every single person with a smile and ensured that each person received their order promptly. His kindness and positive attitude absolutely made my day. All of the staff that I’ve interacted with at that location are friendly and efficient.
