Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

There needs to be a line for people that have already paid for their food with the app.
There should be a pickup to go orders here or something like that. I shouldn’t have to wait 15 or 20 minutes for other people to order just to pick up my order that I ordered 20 minutes earlier. So while my food was getting cold had to just stand there and wait even though it was already done.
10 employees and nobody can come to the counter and ask if you’re there to pick up an order.

Ordered pick up and went inside to retrieve as I enter not one not two but three employees greeted me! Restaurant is/was clean clean, food was ready and fresh. Only delay was the changing of an empty soda selection. Other than that, staff were sincere and welcoming and wanted to show me they all cared. Will be doing more business there because of the customer service!!! Thank you whataburger!

I got the breakfast platter the eggs were very cold and hard on edges like they been sitting there for hours and had mix of some burns pieces of something I couldn’t tell and not sure if it does come with hash brown or not but I didn’t get any. Employee taking my order was very polite

You can fully customize the burger and add 8 piece of meat in a single burger! But I don’t really like the quality of the meat though. It tastes a little loose.

I so badly want to give a great review because I genuinely like Wataburgers food. But the Altus one is just not what it should be. They get my order wrong more often then not and you sit in line for soooo long its frustrating. I’ve always just let it go because they are busy but yesterday when I went it pushed me a bit to far and I can honestly say I probably will never go back now. I ordered a kids meal and 2 other meals (big sign at the drive-true that says free kids meal with purchase mon-thur and it was a mon) well I get to the window and look at my receipt, she had charged me for it. So I politely asked her “I thought the kids meals were free” she responded with “oh my bad its been a long day” I then asked her if she could make it right as there is a sign saying that they are free and I felt like she should honor that. She got all crabby looking and asked “what do you want me to do, like I said its been a long day” I felt so disrespected in that moment I just said fine and took my food. Got home and OF COURSE my order was wrong. Maybe the employees need to have shorter shifts if they are too tired to ring up an order correctly or make it correctly? Im not sure. But it was disappointing.
