Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Have gotten undercooked food many times from here but today it was completely raw. I’m glad I noticed before I swallowed it or I definitely would have gotten extremely sick. Not even going to bother wasting my time coming back just going to contact my bank for a refund

We came in because we had alone time away from baby and we didn’t want to spend 50$ to go sit down somewhere neither one of us have been to whataburger before so we tried it. We also got shakes I tried the new Dr Pepper one 10/10 recommend. We were greeted as soon as we came in and they were so sweet the whole time. One of the girls even brought our food to the table. They didn’t ignore the fact that we were their and wasn’t rude at all ❤️. Definitely recommend. We will come back. Friendly service ❤️. All the other places like Macdonald’s Taco Bell and sonic don’t have friendly service at all. Would definitely come here over there any day. Friendly service goes the longest way ❤️ great job!!!! Everyone here needs a raise!!!!!!!!! Keep up the amazing work. We ate it all lol wish I could have got a pic before !!!!

Absolutely great visit to my Jacksonville, AR Whataburger today. Not sure why FB couldn’t find our store to tag #1625.

Annika should be cloned by the hundreds. So happy to be working and has a great attitude. She even took the time to go say hi to her other customers in the lobby. Even giving one a big hug.
So glad i went inside instead of drive thru..

We went for dinner here with our grandchildren and loved it. We ordered on their touch screen which worked fine with lots of options. I wanted to get extra tomatoes, which wasn’t an option, so I asked and they gave me a few tomato slices in a small container. We ordered a salad, burgers, chicken, fries, onion rings, drinks and more. After several minutes, they brought everything except the chocolate milk, which they quickly brought. I loved the spicy ketchup option. We liked everything, $49 for all 5 of us. The burger I ate was fresh, juicy and great. Will come again.

I had such a pleasant experience visiting the other day. At first I was hesitant due to the earlier reviews, but I’m glad I gave them a chance. The staff are very friendly, smiling, polite and accommodating. My fries were hot and fresh. My burger was hot and delicious. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. They gave me a good size portion of bacon. The burger even tasted well heated back up in the microwave. I will be back to this location!

I only had cash to pay with, the self serve kiosk doesn’t have a cash option like other kiosks I’ve seen. I couldn’t get an employees attention to pay for my food and then on my way out I decided to use the restroom and happened to walk in on an employee taking a dump. Maybe ill be back in a couple years but im pretty grossed out.

I recently visited the Whataburger in Jacksonville, and it was by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The cashier kept walking in and out of the store, completely ignoring customers who were waiting to place an order. When she did speak to other employees, she openly talked badly about one employee right in front of everyone in the lobby.

I ended up waiting over 45 minutes for my food because they gave my order to someone else, and even after showing my receipt and politely asking for it to be corrected, they messed it up a second time. The cook was wearing gloves but was touching the front door, walking in and out of the lobby, and even burping as he walked around completely unsanitary behavior.

At one point, a coworker who wasn’t even in uniform came in and started yelling at the manager about how toxic the workplace is and how everyone has tension with each other. It was embarrassing, unprofessional, and created an extremely uncomfortable environment for customers.

The overall cleanliness and behavior of the staff were disgusting. Employees used the same gloves for cooking and touching doors without ever changing them. The cashier also complained about customers having attitudes over dirty tables while standing in the lobby in front of everyone.

I would strongly recommend staying away from this Whataburger location. I’ve already contacted corporate and truly hope they take action because no one should have to experience such a toxic and unsanitary fast-food environment. I will never return, and I hope this review helps others avoid wasting their time and money here.

I think they might be lowkgenuily slow or sm because I ordered a plain and dry burger should be easy nah they put cheese on it and I’m deadly allergic to dairy so thanks a lot for almost killing me

I had a genuinely wonderful experience at Whataburger that deserves to be shared. I accidentally messed up my order by forgetting to say hold the mustard—totally my mistake. Before I could even worry about it, the team took it upon themselves to remake the entire order, no questions asked.

That level of care and attention speaks volumes. The service was absolutely great: friendly, patient, and truly focused on making sure I left happy. It wasn’t just about fixing an order; it was about delivering exceptional hospitality.

Good review- and I have done a not great one for this location. Destiny and Nigel on the night shift were very friendly and prompt with their service and my order was correct! I have been there before and the experience has not been awesome. Go back and try again if you have been dissatisfied. Good job to these workers. I also left a positive review via the QR code on my receipt.
