My family was looking for a delicious heart warming meal and we found just that at Khao Thai Cuisine! The building itself is tucked away on a small hill in the Skyland Springs shopping center, with plenty of parking directly in front of the restaurant.

I think we may have found our Thai spot! What a pleasant experience! We were greeted and sat as soon as we walked through the door. The Thai tea was good. The crab Rangoons were delightful and the sauce with the gyoza was probably the best I’ve ever had! I ordered my panang at a “hot”… will definitely go for Thai hot next time and try to spice it up a little more. The pad Thai was also scrumptious with the best noodles I have ever had!

Good Thai food visiting with family they have outdoor seating and service was fast. The food took a little long too arrive but once it did it was great the Thai tea was very tasty but too much ice. Or rather the ice size too large. I’d suggest smaller ice for that drink. The pineapple rice was yummy. The pork as well. Over all good price leaning on the expensive side.

Best Thai in south Asheville!!! We love Thai and try as many places as we can. As luck would have it we stumbled across Khao Thai last summer after a day at the county fair. We were hot, hungry and ready to sit a while. The service was fast and on point, the food, more on that in a moment and the dining room was comfortable if a little open plan for my taste.

Hands down the best pad Thai we’ve ever had-I usually order it when I try a new Thai restaurant as a measurement. We liked it enough that we ate here twice in 36 hours of being in Asheville! The beef pad kee mao noodles were cooked perfectly and had a nice amount of spice.

Sai is an excellent server whom we have had twice serving us. The ambiance is bright and pleasant. We really liked the appointments. More importantly the cuisine is excellent. We’ve lived in the area for four years and hadn’t found Thai cuisine that satisfied us until recently. The menu is extensive, having many choices in each category. Dishes are served mild or light-your-pants on fire! Arrival tips: From the South turn left after Post 25 into Skyland Lakes Shopping Center. From the North turn right into Skyland Lakes Shopping Center…clearly visible.

Dropped by here on a roadtrip to Mount Mitchell and the food was AMAZING! Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. One of the best Pad Kee Mows I have ever tried. The fresh flavor with all the herbs and spices made this dish so good. The noodles did not break apart (if you eat asian food, you know what I mean). With every bite, the noodles contained all the combined flavors. My husband ordered the Pad Thai and it did not disappoint! We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.
