Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Just visited this Whataburger on a 14 hour road trip. We will spare you the details, but let’s just its been a day from hell. We chose this location purely out of convenience, neither one of us is a huge Whataburger fan. However, immediately upon arrival we noticed how clean the entire dining area was. Every table was spotless, the drink station was tidy and well stocked, and not a single crumb on the floor.
At the counter, we were greeted by Treasure, who was extremely nice and personable. Our food was hot and freshly made, which isn’t normally the case with other Whataburgers we have been to. Both our chicken strips and burger were buss but the real star of the show was the fries. They were warm, soft, and perfectly salted.
If we ever find ourselves driving through Texarkana again, you BET your bottom dollar we will come back.

We arrived during shift change and it was busy. We sat for 15 minutes and still no order. The manger got right on it and we had fresh fries and burgers. Then offered us another drink, brownies or anything else for free. She was the best and made our experience well worth it!

Good old fashioned burger and fries, large enough to split with my husband and we were both filled to the brim! Also had the chocolate shake and it was quite good. A bit pricey for a burger and fries, but since it was enough for sharing, it turned out to be a good value.

I visited this establishment for the 3rd time to get my food right. Today, another disappointing visit. I don’t understand why they can’t get my order right. I believe it’s because they just don’t care. I will never ever visit them again. I reached out to corporate and they are just as bad with the I don’t give a damn what happened attitude. I have tried and tried to make things better, and it’s just crazy how customer service is just garbage. You pay a premium cost for their food, you should expect a premium product hot, fresh and made correctly .It’s really not complicated at all. PEOPLE JUST DONT CARE.

If you like Whataburger you’re gonna love this location everything served hot and fresh made to order. Keep an eye out for the sticker board it’s on the wall in the dining area where you can put the stickers from your burger on the wall.
