Social Profile:

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties.

Loved it!! Burgers and onion rings were made to order. Everything was hot and fresh. Staff was friendly and efficient. Restaurant and restrooms were clean and well maintained. “Be a Beacon of light so others can find their way. Safe and happy travels!” Be’Be’

We decided to have a large party to celebrate the launch of the new Nintendo console. We had an absolutely absurd order at 3 am that involved more than 10 burgers, fries, shakes, salads, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and bacon, honey butter biscuits, breakfast burgers, and even a chicken sandwich. This store is more than 17 minutes away and I cannot stress enough how above and beyond the entire staff of this location provided the absolute best fast food delivery experience I’ve ever seen. They even provided a free, absolutely beautiful and durable canvas reusable bag and the condiments were fresh and separated so it turned out to be more like a delivery diy impromptu burger bar, which when you think about it is a beautiful business model concept. I think it was very unfair to ask so much of the staff so early in the morning but once everything showed up beautifully packaged and the shakes were still thick and cold I had to call them and thank them personally. This is absolutely my favorite burger place from now on. Everything is delicious and absolutely nothing was wrong, I can’t think of a single time I’ve ever used doordash and received not only 100% of my order, but it was completely flawless with so many complicated requests to manage. Thank you Whataburger for going so hard on customer service at such an inconvenient time in the morning, you made this an unforgettable experience for all of us.

I’ve been going for about eight years now, and the service at this location is unmatched. It’s even better than some of the ones I visited in Texas. The atmosphere is always family friendly. Love it here. Good job Baton Rouge!!!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They charged my card over $500 for a bacon cheeseburger! When I showed the staff member the receipt issue she informed me it was my fault for the glitch because I scanned the Whataburger app for points. WHY HAVE AN APP THAT WOULD HAVE THIS TYPE OF GLITCH!! When I finally got my burger is was cold and wrong.

Took a chance and tried it for the first time. And it’s my last. When thru drive-thru for lunch. Ordered a avocado bacon burger, without tomatoes or onions. Waited a good 15+ minutes in the drive-thru line. Got back to the office to learn that they put tomatoes and onions on my burger. Well I only ate fries for lunch today. Those were good.

Absolutely DISGUSTING!! Went on Saturday 12/6. Burger was nasty, onion rings were cooked in what tasted like old oil and tasted horrible. Restaurant was FILTHY and didn’t look like it had been cleaned in weeks!! Started feeling horribly sick about 3-4 hours after eating here. Don’t waste your $$

Walked right in around 1145am, no wait. Cashier Brandon R was super polite. Got the triple burger with cheese, large fries and drink. Food came out hot and quick, everything was beyond expectations. Every visit to this location has been superb. Keep up the great work!

This was my first dining experience at a Whataburger. I came in for breakfast.

The best thing on the plate was the hash brown sticks and the biscuit.

The bacon was wadded-up, and not impressive. The Sausage Patty was very dry and grainy.

The Grits had so much oil on the top of them I did not want to give them a chance. But I pushed the oil away and took a bite anyway. The Grits tasted like some type of plastic mush.

The eggs were low quality. The texture was not impressive. Salt and pepper helped them. Being on a biscuit would have even made the eggs better by masking them.

I was very surprised by the picante sauce. It was very good.

For $7.34 with drink not too bad even though the $1 added grits were yuck.
