so we stopped by Whataburger to get a sandwich because we have found that we really liked the Whataburger’s, however, we have now learned that we will stick to the Whataburger in the legends area because this one on 135th St. has a lot to be desired. We ordered the jalapeño hamburger as pictured and we got a single cheeseburger with jalapeños and no lettuce no tomatoes, no dressing. I ordered the number two add bacon, cheese, guacamole and mayonnaise on both sides. both bacon and hamburger is cold. Let’s just say they sent me a container of mayonnaise no knife to spread it with and I will show the picture of the inadequate amount of guacamole for the size of hamburger that they served. And our fries were cold. Not a good experience.

I came through the drive-thrus tonight, 01/27/25 , at around 9:45 pm.
I got a Party Melt combo and a Sweet N’ Spicy Burger combo. It was DELICIOUS! The food tasted so yummy; and it looked even better than the food in the photos of it on the drive-thrus menu.
The food came out really fast too! I ordered, paid, and got my food in probably less than five minutes!
The girl at the drive-thru window was a young black lady in her mid-twenties probably, with curly light brown hair with golden highlights in it. I don’t know what her name was. She was very polite, calling me “ma”am,” and offered to put my drinks in a cup holder. I accidentally dropped the straws on the ground, but she didn’t get annoyed and got me more. She was very polite, respectful, and friendly.
I definitely will come back again. The manager of this shift should be very proud of these workers. Thank you Whataburger.

I really like the cheeseburgers here and I just have to eat her with my family any time that I happen to be in town. I really wish they served Pepsi products though. I love the spicy ketchup and the new Whataburger sauce. The employees could stand to be a lot more friendly though. The restaurant was clean.

This review is a week late but I just had to share a review. We came in for a patty melt and chicken cobb salad through the drive thru. And come to our surprise Manasse provided excellent customer service. He suggested an apple pie which did not dispoint. Thank you again for the apple pie.

Ordered DoorDash, they didn’t prepare my husband burger to order, leaving off the grilled onions and Monterey jack cheese. They also sent us watered down Diet Dr. Pepper instead of regular Dr. Pepper. The fries were old and ice cold, too. I don’t know if is just the night shift or the lack of English speaking people these fast food chains hire. But seriously, attention to detail is lacking. Very disappointing. If y’all can’t prepare doordash orders appropriately, then get off DoorDash. Whataburger should have stayed out of KC.

My experience with this particular whataburger location, it depends on who’s working. Taking orders and cooking the food, because sometimes it’s good and sometimes they can’t seem to get it right. I noticed how they like cooking the burgers on one side to speed up the process, but I’d like my burgers well done, which means it has to be cooked on both sides. It’s not about the speed, it’s about fulfilling
My order the correct way. I asked for no salt on the fries and sometime I receive salt. If you by chance, stop by this place, be sure to tell them exactly how you want your order. Other than that, the place is not bad.

Great location. Nice and clean restaurant. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food came out fast and it was fresh. Burger is a great size to my surprise. Love the different sauces they offer you when they bring your food to the table. Parking is plentiful. Overall, great experience and look forward to going back to Whataburger.

The server was doing his best but management set him up for failure as he was the only person running the whole place on a Saturday morning. The rating isn’t for the food. The food was great. I received a huge handful of onions on my burger and a little lettuce. So much onion even after taking them off the onion flavor was still over taking. I didn’t want extra onion but got it. The cup was so full of ice and a little soda after leaving the drive threw I had to walk in dump out some of the ice and add soda.Asked for ketchup and got both ketchup and spicy. Im not going to eat the spicy didnt ask for it. Just product waste. Morr mustard off the side of the bun was just messy to eat…Just ask for light ice and onion when ordering

The first time here, the burgers tasted great, and we did get 1 chicken sandwich, and it was also great. Everyone loved the fries. The tea tasted good. We also ordered a chocolate shake it was good, just not very chocolate. This must be a Whataburger deal since another location was like this also. We will be back if we are in that location again.
