I have mixed feelings about this place. There are some genuinely impressive elements, but also a few disappointing aspects that affected the overall experience.

For a destination like this, it’s clear that most visitors are true Lindt fans who want to see the museum and learn about the chocolate-making process. Unfortunately, the fact that tickets need to be booked several days in advance with no waitlist and no option to see anything without a booking was very disappointing. Turning up and not being able to experience the museum at all felt poorly thought through for such a major attraction.

On the positive side, the café was wonderful. The snacks, especially the ice cream, were excellent, and the hot chocolate and coffee were very enjoyable. The large chocolate fountain in the centre of the hall also looked grand and beautiful definitely a highlight and very impressive visually.

The shop itself is fantastic, with an incredible variety of chocolates. We ended up spending over CHF 250 on chocolates, including gifts. However, one negative experience stood out: at the handmade chocolate counter, when I asked to try a chocolate a second time so I could decide what to buy, the staff member responded quite rudely, saying it was the “last time.” Given that I was clearly purchasing chocolates, the interaction felt unnecessary and unfriendly.

Overall, the venue itself is impressive and worth visiting for the café, shop, and visuals, but the ticketing system and a lack of consistency in customer service detract from what could otherwise be a much better experience.

Lindt’s shop in Zürich is an absolute paradise for chocolate lovers! The selection is outstanding, from the classic pralines to the newest creations, and everything is beautifully presented. The staff are warm, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable, making every visit a delightful experience. You can truly feel the passion and tradition behind Lindt in every detail. Whether for a gift, a treat to yourself, or simply to enjoy the atmosphere, this shop is a must-visit. A five-star experience all around

Had a good time here, spent a couple of hours. Lots of chocolate samples, interactive rooms, informative slides and shows and a store at the end to buy chocolate.

Shop looks nice and the staff are friendly and helpful.
However, I’m giving a low rating because the name is misleading – the word “outlet” suggests discounted prices. In reality, this seems to be a shop targeting tourists rather than offering real deals. For example, Lindt orange chocolate here costs 4.8 CHF, exactly the same as at Coop supermarkets. It’s therefore not worth the extra effort to shop here.
To make matters worse, the same chocolate costs around 2.2 EUR in neighboring France – about 50% cheaper. That’s surprising, considering this store is right next to the factory, which should lower transport and retail costs.
Overall, not worth a visit if you’re looking for cheaper chocolate from an “outlet.”

The tour is definitely worth it! We had so much fun learning about the history and process of Chocolate in Switzerland. The interactivity with the food samples and the entire experience overall makes the entrance fee more than worth it.

Chocolate lovers to pin this place! Decoration and ambiance were very good. Lots of deals were offered. It’s noticeable that the prices are way higher than the other countries even this is a factory outlet store. It makes sense if you buy the packages with deal and they are usually more than 12 bars or above.
