Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Was they only person in drive thru and waited nearly 15mins for food and received a cold chicken sandwich with rotten lettuce. Disgusting enough to point in looking up lab testing to see what I had just consumed.

This place is excellent! The food was amazing. The tables were clean. But, most of all, the service was top notch. After we finished eating, Kaiden came up to our table and asked us if we had cell phones. We both said yes, and then he asked what kind. We both told him and then he asked to see them. I showed him my phone, but the person I was with couldn’t find theirs. Kaiden pulled the phone out of his pocket and said he had found it in the parking lot, and wanted to make sure it was ours before just giving it to some strangers. Kaiden helped out my faith in humanity again. Thank you Kaiden, and thank you Whataburger. Thank you Kaiden for being an honest person and showing extreme integrity! And, thank you Whataburger for employing this gem! Kaiden, I don’t know where your headed in life, but you can do something great with morals and values like that! God bless you!

We had ordered two combos and biting through one of them had a BEAD IN IT. We had called and told them and they refused to help us or give us a refund or at least a remake. They decided to blame us for being dirty and did nothing about it they do not take accountability and are horrible at helping customers.

best part was the food came out hot! other than that; the sandwich & hamburger were smothered with so much sauce that is was overwhelming & just messy. staff assisting (short red/orange hair african american girl) at the order/pickup counter was completely unprofessional on her phone & just seemed to bothered to greet & help customers with orders or receiving their cups for the soda self service. it’s a quiet environment for a quick lunch & that’s pretty much it. drive through seems better just to not deal with staff at counter

First time having Whataburger. I can see why it’s lived, probably top 4 fast food burgers I’ve had. Fries were a bit sub par, apple pie a callback with the fried pie in a tube and was delish. But what was most impressive was the low price. A good burger but an amazing price. We both had a meal for less than $20 total.

Jay has a heart of gold and needs a raise. I bought cups and a shake on a Sunday night. An absolutely wonderful experience. He kept the dining room moving and has been running food the whole time I was here. He’s like a machine killing it in the front of house.

Drive through was 2 lanes, they don’t have the system working well. Kid had to ask us what our order was, and took 3 visits to our car to complete transaction and get us our food. We ordered 2 combos and extra side of onion rings, didn’t get the onion rings, which we paid for.

I just want you know who trained the cooks? The young lady that took the order was kind, although she couldn’t hear me in the drive through. She was pleasant, patient and very nice. The gentleman that handed me the food was kind, very respectable. But who trained the cooks? I could have went across the street to Walmart and paid $8 for dry no sauce buffalo wings. But I literally spent $40 to get low quality food?
I want my money back. Even when you look at the pictures of the wings you can see they didn’t even try to put sauce on them. Then when you compare the wings I got to the ones y’all advertise. Umm no, it’s not good quality at all. I’ve even been to the location in Lee Summit and they soak your wings in sauce to the point that they’re swimming. What’s going on here cause it took 20 minutes to get the food? Is this a joke??? I wish I would have opened up my bag in the drive thru before I drove off.

Sandwiches were LITERALLY SLATHERED in sauces, to the point where the wrapper was saturated and I threw it out instead of eating it. Which I don’t do! I definitely understand sometimes u gotta eat stuff cuz it’s food & ur hungry. But it was just too gross. I don’t have my vehicle and live a half hour away so trying to get a refund or edible food wasn’t possible. The messed up part is how much better the food was than the service was! For one, the child taking my order must have not been paying attention cuz if she was that means she’s just not the sharpest crayon in the box! And the mgr who was as from an authority figure as u can get was lying straight to my face telling me what my friend & I ordered. Like I can be gaslight into thinking I really ordered 3 meals for 2 ppl! Ridiculous on so many levels! AND IT TOOK FOREVER, TOO!!! Literally was there for a half an hour! And it wasn’t that busy, either! I will never go there again & hope reading this helps someone else decide not to go!
