Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties.

Plenty of parking and handicap accessible parking.
Lot needs cigarette butts and a bit of trashed picked up.
Walk and entry look nice and clean.
Interior was well lit and felt inviting. Downside cleaning and detail cleaning looks to be an after thought as the same dirty booth seats were still dirty nearly 40 minutes later when I left.
Drink was perfect – drink area needed cleaning as there were smears all over the counter.
I ordered a Cheeseburger with bacon plain – I was questioned if I wanted mustard ?After a bit we got it correct. I ordered the fries well done. Everything came out PERFECT. Thank you.
Whataburger is a great addition to GRANDVIEW.
The whata fajita was okay. Chicken was a whole chicken breast in a tortilla. It would be better with bite size pieces of chicken meat. They slipped on the fajita veggies. Still decent to eat.
I ordered a meal from the app.
I got a double junior hamburger, small fries and a small Coke for $7.99. Good deal.
QB1 owns this location and it’s a good one.
