Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I am soooo happy that I decided to go to Whataburger last night while doing DoorDash around the area. I was contemplating sitting and having a meal versus grabbing and go. Once I saw the orange and white sign lit across the street, I gravitated towards it quickly. I had not had a Patty Melt in over 12 months, and boy oh boy was last night worth the wait!!!!
The cashier was cordial and patient; the food was made to ORDER. How do I know? Fries- HOT! Just like I like them and fresh (no refrying here). The melt was customized with shredded lettuce, just as I requested. It wasn’t just warm buns engulfing lukewarm beef patties. No! The entire sandwich HIT on all cyclinders. Yall better run and grab one while you are iced in and even if you are not!!!

I’ve gotten the garden salad a few times now and for some reason they never add the shredded cheese that’s supposed to be on it. If you go on the app, it’s listed as one of the toppings, also it’s on the picture. I can understand if this happens maybe one time but this has been multiple times. If I’m paying the money for something , I expect to get everything that’s supposed to be on it besides what I take off.

I ate inside in flowood Thursday 9/11/25 it was nice the staff was very nice they brought my food out to me. The restaurant was very clean. I was there at lunchtime. Friday.9/12/25 Jackson on High Street the manager brought my food to me to car she was kind as always. That’s my Whataburger I go to and its my favorite. But all are good. I have like that one from the time I meet the old manager name Adrian. This young lady they have that is just this nice. I did purchase a cup to support Texas.

I went to this location for a quick bite after church, and ordered a large fry and a single milkshake. I sat in line for 30mins after paying. I noticed there were 8 employees in the kitchen goofing off while the line continued to build. Once I finally received my meal the fries were not salted. This establishment needs better leadership, in my opinion.

8/28/2025. Got off at 4am. Came to Whataburger as its the only restaurant open at the time. Was given a substitute meal other than what I ordered because it was easier to make at this time. Was home before I realized. Never have I left a review, but this deserved the one star.

A beautiful restaurant with a lot of opportunity! This a brand new store with all the cool features. When I entered the store I had to ask someone to take my order by walking into the back area. Then girl behind the counter told me it was sooooo busy complaining, no one was in the waiting area.. then I walked around the back and this is what I saw… in ending great restaurant brand with lots of promise but never again

I write this review still sitting in the drive through. I just had to come here and say that every experience I have had at this location has been pleasant. The employees are always so kind and I’m absolutely blown away because this isn’t common practice in the fast food industry these days. 10/10 recommend.
