Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This is one of the best Whataburger locations in the Memphis area. I do a lot of traveling, and moved from Texas, and I have to say – this store has some of the friendliest employees and the food is hot and fresh. You can’t beat a real, unfrozen, beef burger – that’s how we do it back home

I’ve only eaten here once with my wife the food is overpriced for what it is, the food wasn’t even good. We had to wait 20 minutes for our food and they weren’t even busy. Then every time I have to DoorDash or uber food from there you have to tell them that you’re there or you ain’t getting that food you’ll just sit there in that corner waiting forever. This place is terrible I wish they would’ve built a Burger King or something else better than this place!

Like all WAB, don’t be in a hurry. The service was good. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Food was fresh and hot. This location was definitely faster than others in the area, but still not super fast. But I don’t mind waiting for fresh cooked to order.
Spicy ketchup is always on-point.

The service was fine, but the burger was undercooked for my tastes. Pink inside except for the very edges of the burger.

I do not usually eat at this Whataburger but I stopped here for lunch. The manager personally took my order. And everyone in the establishment seemed very kind and polite. The establishment was very cleana and very well ordered. Will have no problem returning.

I think it’s really crappy to wait so long in line and they take other peoples orders and let them go around!! That’s horrible and disrespectful!! Everyone’s time is just as valuable as the next person! Now I have to worry if I have spit on my food!
