Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The Sweet and Spicy Bacon Burger tasted better than anticipated but left everything the sauce touched sticky enough to have to immediately wash. The lobby was a complete mess sans the “bar” area and the servers and cooks were fast and efficient.

I stopped with 14 teenagers for lunch on Feb 22. Passing through on a trip. The manager, Alex, brought out a bag full of goodies for the kids. She didn’t have to do that. But the kids loved it! That is how a manger does it better.

Are they serious with the wait times for a fast food burger here? They need to take a page from in-n-out or chick-fila, both superior restaurants with way quicker times. Management needs to kick it into gear because this is ridiculous.

1st time here what an awesome place! Hamburgers were the best cooked just right and hot. The ff were great. The vanilla and chocolate milk shakes were nice and thick. Wow, this new outlet in Lebanon, TN rocks! I ordered a triple patty Whataburger combo with a large strawberry shake, large fries and an apple pie! Absolutely inhaled this!

I’ve gotta say I’m disappointed. Brought my wife here to try Whataburger for the first time: Our order took over 30 minutes to receive 2 sandwiches and fries; the fries were cold; the Honey BBQ sandwich I ordered was not served on the toast it was supposed to be served on, but a smashed bun. When I asked what the delay was, I was told they were working on the chicken and there were a lot of orders and she apologized. The 3 person party who ordered in front of us received their food and ate well before we received our food. And when our food was brought out, the yound man got to our table, apologized, and walked away with our food to set it on a bar top so he could go back to the kitchen area to check the receipt to ensure it was our food, leaving our food unattended as he did so. The lack of thought here was surprisingly low. UPDATE: trying the chicken sandwich, it was cold on top of being on the wrong type of bread per their own menu. Very disappointing for 30.58.

I ordered a breakfast bowl and waited 30 minutes!!! Even two other customers were served before me. There was no other customers because it was 3am, hence being busy isn’t an excuse. Absolutely ridiculous.
