Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Whataburger has been expanding rapidly outside of TX. Had heard concerns about a drop in quality. On my visit here, I found the food to be the same great quality that we’ve enjoyed for decades in TX. The friendly staff was very helpful.

I ordered through the kiosk for the first time which worked very well. It was super busy but I didn’t really have much of a wait and they were keeping the restaurant remarkably clean considering the rush. A less than five minute wait to get my food. I bit into the burger and found out why: it was cold. I don’t mean lukewarm or room temperature, I mean it was cold to the touch. No heat had been recently applied to it. I suspect they had pre-made hamburger patty’s sitting in water in the kitchen to keep them warm and they didn’t notice the water had gotten cold on them. I went ahead and ate it since it had obviously been cooked at some point but it was not the quality I expect from a Whataburger.

First time at a Whataburger. Service was excellent. Manager took our order and was super friendly. She made several recommendations and we were not disappointed. Wife ordered the melt and I got the double with onion rings. All of it was delicious. Manager recommended banana pudding milkshake and add chocolate to it. Great choice. Only doing was dining area was dirty and needed a word down. Overall great experience highly recommend.

Service was great but heck, them burgers got way too much mustard on them. I struggled finishing my burger because all I could taste was the mustard. Will definitely get a burger with no mustard next time. Other than that, food is OK.

We almost didn’t go because of the negative reviews, but I’m so glad we did. We used the drive-thru and the line moved as quickly as we expected. Once we were at the window we were given our DELICIOUS Banana Pudding Shakes and they let us know that our order would be out shortly. Then a few moments later someone came to the window and let us know that they were just waiting on our onion rings to come up. Just a moment later we were given our order. Everyone was pleasant and informative. We really enjoyed our visit and the food was great.

The service was okay, but we had to tell an employee many times that the order he was giving us was not ours. There was a mix-up and two tables had the same tent number. He kept insisting that the number was right, despite the food being totally wrong.

I had always wanted to try a Whataburger, and finally had a chance! The employees were nice and gave us time to check out the menu to make our minds up. We both got a double cheeseburger with fries. I got a strawberry shake with mine. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the burgers were super salty. Other than that, everything was really good. I was really full afterwards! The shake was good too. Definitely a great burger!

Actually very good. I’ve been here multiple times and it’s better than the Murfreesboro location in my opinion. The service is VERY good. It makes a huge difference. The food is great for a fast food option, the spicy ketchup makes me jump for joy! One of my favorite late night spots!
