Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

What a great location! As a bonus wonderful people work here! The manager, Alicia, and her two wonderful workers, Ximena and Jaylon, were hard at work even in the snow storm. The food was fresh and delicious and I would easily go past the one near my house to go to this location!

When I went up there to order my food the nice lady at the counter named Octavia helped me take my order and answer any questions I had. Omar also helped me with getting my sauces and my food out here in a timely manner. When I was about to leave and I checked my food I realized they gave me the wrong item but when I asked for the manager Jaylon he helped me get my right food and made sure it was correct. This is the best whataburger I’ve been to in a while and all the staff was very kind and helpful. Will be coming back!

Young lady waited on me was named Octavia she was very professional very nice talk with me while I waited on my food. Which is very rare today, she ask me how my day, asked me what I did for a living very professional. She took my order right away as soon as I walked in. Whataburger better watch it or my company will try to take her away lol They always looking for people like her. The food came out very quickly and fresh and hot One of the best whataburgers I’ve been to.

The lettuce on my wife’s chicken sandwich was limp and wilted. They were out of spicy ketchup but the young man did go dig through the back and find 2 packets. Kudos there. The dining area was very messy. We had to wipe down a booth so we could sit down. This was at 130pm with only 2 other people in the dining area.

Love this little location. Food is always tasty the service is with a smile from Octavia she is great . She went out of her way to find me some spicy ketchup even though they thought they were out of it! I usually go to the Athens location Whataburger but this will be my new favorite spot

The manager Ximena and the window girl Octavia are some of the best workers I’ve ever had in the past 5 years of fast food. Everything is always cooked to order, they’re always so nice, and always inform me of what I’m supposed to do if I want something specific. These two are amazing and make sure everything is correct.

I frequent many Whataburger locations as it’s one of my favorite places to eat. This Whataburger is an absolute disgrace to the name. I pretty sure I paid more than I was supposed to as my order was absolutely wrong. Waited longer than we should as our food was ready but I heard them say she keeps disappearing. Thankfully our food was still lukewarm. Then when the food came out both my son’s burgers were wrong as well as my daughters. My daughter was okay with hers but son hates cheese on his burgers and we were almost done with our food by the time it finally came out. They were out of a lot of stuff and charged us for large drinks because they were out of medium drinks. Then on top of the that the restrooms were not very clean. Then while we were sitting there two separate people came in saying they had stuff missing or received the absolute wrong order. Needless to say we will not visit this one ever again.
