Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I had an amazing experience. The burger and onion rings were excellent. The cashier took our order faster than the person at the kiosk could place his. All of the ingredients on the burger were super fresh. The tables were freshly cleaned and everyone wanted to be sure that we were very happy there. They seemed genuinely concerned about our experience. I expect a wait at Whataburger because the items are made fresh to order. I was dining in, so it wasn’t a problem. Great experience and I will return.

Portions are great. We’ll worth the price. This is a fast food restaurant but the food didnt taste like it had been kept under a heat lamp. Fries and onion rings were delicious. Hosts brought our food to the table and another cleaned away our trash. All in all great service and the restaurant was clean as were the bathrooms.

Had a regular cheeseburger and fries. Burger was fine. Fries were good. Place is clean, even the restroom. But that’s where my satisfaction ends. First of all, the one single kiosk for ordering is terrible. Took forever for the people in front of me to get through it, and me as well. Takes like 17 screens just to order a basic combo meal unless you are very familiar with it. Food took almost 25 minutes to come out, which was not what I wanted on a road trip. And what is up with those ketchup packets?? Practically needed power tools to get into them…they did not peel off easily. All told, probably not somewhere I would visit again, solely based on the ordering process (I hate kiosks, and especially ones that are overly complicated) and time to get food.

Made a mobile order around 15 minutes to arrival. I arrived an there and had to stand an extra 15 minutes to wait. I will say they apologized for the wait. When we got the food in the truck I opened my chicken fingers with gravy all over them since the lid to the gravy was popped off and I do not like gravy. Apparently all they were worried about was whatever inspector was there. Saw no line for drive thru and maybe 5 people inside besides us. I will not be back to this location unfortunately.

I always love Whataburger food, I just wanted to make you aware that Andrelas at the Pell City, AL. location is quite possibly the friendliest person I’ve ever met working in a fast food restaurant. Within all of the stress that comes with working in fast food, she has a big smile on her face, a great tone to her voice and answers questions with enthusiasm and professionalism. Fantastic experience and the food was great!

We had Chick-fil-A type service (meaning it was really good and accommodating). The girl working the counter had an amazing smile and very nice tone throughout the entire dining experience. Great food as well served right to our table. Overall excellent service.

I’ve eaten here 6 times already. Every time the food has been hot and fresh. I’m so glad we finally have a 24 hour place to eat at in pell city. The patty melt is the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere. Good quality fast food.

Burgers came slathered in mustard even though on online order requested none. Burger cold, fries lukewarm. Even after waiting for the order. Restaurant dirty. Tried again after a break thinking it would be better but not, Staff friends but hard to find.

The manager on Sunday morning shift 12:15 was very rude about a remake on a patty melt burger which I also ordered wing meal $26 something worth of food instead of remaking the burger no sauce he refused and would rather make the business loose $26 instead of the cost of a remake on the burger the manager on duty said that’s giving away free food I’ve never seen such poor customer service especially over a remake on a burger do better on hiring managers please I will no longer do business at the Pell City location thank you

Terrible. One burger no fries no drink was over $11 then had to wait on it to be cooked. About 10 minutes later. They came out and brought it the burger in a bag no napkins no nothing not worth it.
