Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

We stopped at this Whataburger today and had such a great experience! The food was really good—fresh, hot, and exactly what we ordered. The service was quick and everyone we interacted with was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself was also extremely clean, including the dining area and drink station, which we really appreciated.
It’s clear the team here takes pride in what they do. We’ll definitely stop by again next time we’re in the area! Highly recommend.

I’ve been here at least ten or more times by now, and they’re pretty consistently decent about getting my order right, keeping it warm, and tasty. They don’t let me down often enough for me to avoid the place. My personal favorite food items would be the breakfast burger, hash brown sticks/ fries with jalapeno ranch as a dip. My only nitpicks would be the tea is hit or miss and the prices are a bit higher than you might expect, but overall I like this place. Good job to the team and good job to the management for keeping it running.

Talk about delicious!!!! Food was so hot and ready I almost burned my mouth but I’ll say that is a welcome change from many places where the food is barely lukewarm when it comes out to you. The team here is super friendly and they brought our food right to us with this neat little tray of sauces! Talk about great atmosphere!!!! The fries are awesome too

We left a review a year ago which we rated as a three. I had no choice but to lower it to one. We arrived there on Saturday at 1:00 pm and it was not very busy. They were out of fries, Coke and Dr Pepper. It took 25 minutes to prepare our order which is far from short order. I would have thought the food would been hot after waiting that long but it was not. They brought our order to another table and after the other people opened it they brought it to us. Totally against health department rules. Our daughters salad was very old with a lot of brown lettuce. She could not eat it so she just put it in the trash. Our grandaughter did not eat hers as she saw the child at the other table open her box up and did not want to eat it in fear of getting sick as she said the other child was. Our daughter and son-in-law payed for the meal. I wish that they had requested a total refund but they did not. We will not only never return to this location but we will never eat in another Whataburger. Eat here at your own risk as it was a terrible experience for our family.

I love this place. The food and service are great. The restaurant and bathrooms are always clean and tidy. The milkshakes are so yummy! Right now they have the Mexican Hot Chocolate shake….soooo good. The salted caramel shake is my favorite. I’m looking forward to that one coming back. Their Dr Pepper Shake is my husband’s favorite. Their grilled chicken is so tender, juicy and flavorful. I could go on but I’ll stop here. I recommend if you haven’t been, GO!

You’ve got your places these days that give you the “Sorry our systems are down!”. WELL NOT HERE. Walked inside at a late hour and even with a busy drive through at said late hour service was promptly offered to me and they even gave me some great recommendations on what I should get. The restaurant is incredibly clean and no one is just standing around. The employees are working and correctly making food! Highly recommend this establishment.

My husband and I stopped in after grocery shopping yesterday. We were welcomed in as soon as we opened the door. I can honestly say everyone was so friendly and it honestly seemed like everyone was happy to be working there. After we ordered my husband actually inquired about buying one of the visors because he liked it. We didn’t leave with a visor but he did leave with a new hat and we also got some whatabuger braclets!

Patrick was amazing! That kid was so busy but could tell I was undecided on what I wanted. As I studied the menu (he payed attention) and asked if I needed help! I said yes I don’t know what I want. He recommended the wrangler burger. I agreed to the combo and the girl rang me up as he went back to make my food! I’m not one to leave reviews but that was the best burger I have ever put in my mouth! Thank you Patrick the cook for being so sweet and making my tummy super happy! I’ll see you again soon!
