Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Yeah, yeah, this is just a fast food place… but no, it’s not. It’s a freaking whataburger!!! When I saw the sign on the interstate, I had to stop. Its nostalgic and we dont have them at home. It didnt disappoint, either! It was delicious!!! But even better, the service was incredible. Everyone smiled and was kind, quick, and so accommodating. They jumped to help or get you anything you needed or wanted. This was like chick-fil-a service… but with dang good hamburgers. I got a cheese burger and onion rings. It was all SO SO good.

The female working the drive through was very rude! The doors to the lobby were locked and I had 2 door dash orders to pick up. She informed me she could do pickups in the driver thru and told me she had no way of locking the doors so come inside. Three of us tried to get in before this, the other 2 left. She was unlocking the doors and putting the order i was there for on the shelf as I came around the corner. The guy making the food was awesome and was laughing about it. He made the situation better and even apologized. He gets 5 stars, drive thru lady would get -5 if I could rate negative!

This week, I had the chance to visit Whataburger for the first time, inspired by my friend’s enthusiastic recommendations. Overall, my experience was quite positive. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich along with fries and a milkshake. The flavors were impressive, and I particularly enjoyed the spicy ketchup, which paired nicely with the fries. Based on this experience, I would definitely recommend Whataburger to others and look forward to returning to try more of their menu.

If you’re gonna be open for 24 hours, at least try to hire a competent work staff for the Night Shift because it is insane that I have Been sitting in this drive-through for an hour because they can’t get their crap together. I mean, honestly, how do you mess up three orders in a row? We ordered an order for online pick up and somehow he got handed out wrong and it took them well over 30 minutes to come up and even check on us at the window To let us know that our food was missing. Honestly, just do better

I do not enjoy posting negative things about any business, however, this deserved a comment. I just started going to whataburger within the last year (first one I was around). I was delighted to learn not only did they value our first responders but treated our veterans the same. 50% off of two of the highest priced items on their order. Until today, the eve of veterans day. I stopped in to get a milkshake and a burger. Told them this time I am a veteran. Was told $3.03 for my order. Got to the window and it was $9+ I inquired and was asked if I was active or retired (is there a difference? Served is served) I answered and was told they only do free coffee for veterans. I paid the full price, told them I would not return. I wrote this to forewarn other veterans not to shop here. There are plenty of other businesses that honor and respect our service to this country. Without our sacrifice there would be no them.

Going home from Jacksonville to Statesboro, My wife asked for only one thing. A whataburger. So I stopped in Yulee and asked for a manager so I could explain the situation to him. He said yes Sir and wrapped up my meals in suran wrap so they’d stay reasonably fresh until I got home to make my wife happy! The restaurant was as clean as a whistle. A wonderful experience

The food was fresh but there was a bit of a wait for the food to come to our table. They were moderally busy but for the amount of staff working, service should’ve been faster. We ordered the jalapeno burger, the triple burger meals with a side of large onion rings. Everything was served hot and the burgers are HUGE. If you’re not a mustard lover, be sure to request no mustard or very light mustard because both burgers were drenched with mustard. I also ordered a cinnamon roll but we were to stuffed to give it a try. However, it looks very tasty and will be great after a 30 sec microwave warm. We will visit again because with the size of the burgers, the kids will be full for a number of hours.
