Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

My first time having Whataburger so I went with the #1 classic single burger. The patty had a nice flavor and a nice bite to it. The condiments and toppings weren’t evenly distributed and the onions rings weren’t quite the best. We were served quickly and the guy at the window was cool. Overall bussdown rating: 7.0/10.

A very underwhelming experience. Burgers are what you would expect for a fast food restaurant. I wouldn’t really say theyre any better than any other fast food place. I did like the added selection of toppings that aren’t available at other places like avacodo, sliced jalapenos, and two different kinds of cheese. The dining room was a little unkempt and there were no napkins in the dispenser for quite some time. Service was adequate.

The food was fresh, hot and well prepared. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and it was crispy and well seasoned. I would put it up against any spicy chicken sandwich that is out there. The chocolate shake was delicious! Good consistency. Fresh, chocolate flavor. Really good shake.

Whenever I’m passing through, I come to eat here because the burgers are amazing. This time the extremely pleasant Shoinese took my order, they had a new burger and I added grilled Jalapeños to it. absolutely amazing! Shoinese not only came to check on me, but also brought me spicy ketchup! A nice added touch! Keep her on board because she’s going places with that smile. Thanks for the experience and wonderful customer service.

First time eating at Whataburger and I was surprised. I got the avacado bacon burger and WOW it was soo good!! The only thing that I was disappointed I. Was the amount of onion rings in the box and they we all small but they were hot, fresh and tasted good.

Melanie was such a sweet lady! They were busy when I walked in and she communicated that she would be with me shortly. She clarified my order and had it out quickly. Before I left she was cleaning off the tables and chairs and offered to take my tray for me as well. Wonderful experience!
