Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Not me realized I had the wrong burger when I got home. What was worse was that I was the only one on the drive through and they still managed to get my order wrong. Check your food before you leave.

Whataburger has arrived in Hall County with two locations one on Lanier Islands Pkwy and another on Winder Hwy. I went to the latter for lunch. It was pretty busy with both customers in the Drive-thru as well as those eating inside and food app drivers waiting up front for their orders. Service was alright for the most part considering that they’ve been opened for a few weeks. I ordered a Double Whataburger meal that came with fries and a drink. The burger was big and delicious along with the fries which were crisp. A special shout out to Vincent who took my order and recommended the spicy ketchup to try. Give it some time, I feel that this restaurant will be the next biggest thing generous food portions and a good atmosphere.

I know that there have been negative reviews, but my experience was fantastic. I was informed on the wait and also told about only cooking to order the chicken due to freshness. Thank you for that, so therefore that is why I gave a 5star review. Cleanliness, friendly and just down right enjoyable hospitality!!!!

I’ve been wanting to try whataburger, and I found one nearby. Do mind, this was the first time eating here, and I got to say my god, I was shocked. I was expecting Burger King type quality, but no! That sweet and spicy burger was huge, and the spicy ketchup was the best ketchup I’ve ever had, and those onion rings, so dang, good. I highly recommend coming here. The service was great, the building was super clean, and the food will not disappoint.

The staff here are very friendly. Hard to find these days… I come here often and the food is always hot and fresh. Love that they bring a whole tray of condiments out to you and the managers seem like they actually care about you. 10/10 recommend!

This place sucks late night I wish I could give it 0 stars. It says for curbside order arrive 6-9 minutes. I got to the numbered spot on curbside and waited over 40 minutes. Then I had to go inside for the food and it was ready but just sitting there. Ridiculously long wait and saw 2 cars that weren’t even there yet get their food before I did. Hope you have a hour to waste coming here. Didn’t even come out to say sorry or anything. Bad customer service. I get home to the tenders looking like they haven’t changed the oil.

This Whataburgeer is much better than the one in Gainesville or in Buford…yep, tried each one I come across.
The one in Buford has excellent customer service, but usually gets my order wrong.
The one in Gainesville has terrible customer service and some of the staff are rude.
But the one in Oakwood… great customer service AND they get my orders right.

I love this location! I’ve come on several occasions and everytime I come it’s been fresh, the staff has been friendly and the usual manager that is there I believe is named Daniel. He always makes a point to come by to the tables and check in on customers. Another employee who is usually on the register Ashley is super kind and helpful with the menu. My kids love it here!
