Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

HORRIBLE!! Nothing short of horrible. 34 minute wait… this is my fault. I should have left way before this. Ordered patty melt, didn’t get it. Asked for sauces didn’t get it. Cold, rock hard fries. Ordered kids meal didn’t get all of it. No napkins and food was all lukewarm/cold. The company/franchise owner should be embarrassed. ORDER #505066

I came here when I got off of work (after 11pm) to pick up dinner for my husband and I. Customer service was amazing, food was correct and delicious (I always check whenever I go somewhere because something is usually wrong). They always get my order correct. Hospitality was exceptional! Would highly recommend especially if going late! Will definitely be back!

3rd visit since they opened. Each time worse. Very long wait in drive thru. Cold fries that were supposed to be onion rings. Large drink was 3/4 full of ice so very little actual coke. Too bad. This place is easy access from where I live and was looking forward to a good burger option. Not.

Horrible! Hubby stopped for whataburger and Jr. Whopper. When I removed the tomatoes this is what they gave me! See picture. 1/2 hamburger and bite off the other side of the meat. We returned both (received apology and refund). We will not be back. The hamburger does not have cheese covering the meat! This is exactly how it came!!!

There is no way this is fast food. Nothing fast about it. Tried to order at the kiosk, no tent table cards available and it canceled our order because we were waiting to enter that. Went through the drive-through instead, more than 30 minute wait. Never seen a drive-through run like this, inexcusable in this mind of work. Other guests standing in the lobby said “I hope you don’t have to be anywhere soon.“ This restaurant needs to get their act together.

Mom, my sister and I enjoyed a nice lunch after church. The food was ok. Onion rings were good. Sandwich was good size. Drinks are huge. Mom says the coffee was great. Service was incredible and the manager (Wendy) took the time to great all customers. We’ll go back.

Awesome 5 stars needed. Great atmosphere. Smiling faces. Heck even music playing in the background. Friendly workers friendly customers. Waited less the a minute for our food didn’t even have time to fill our drinks, and we got a lot of lettuce and napkins. Our food was not cold.

Not a great Whataburger. They messed up two of our three orders. The poor guy at the counter was running around like a headless chicken. Once we got our orders straightened out, the food was really good, especially the blackberry Dr. Pepper shake. That’s what saved this review from a one-star.

I love this location! I eat here all the time, nearly weekly actually, on my lunch break. Everyone is super friendly and helpful!
Most of the time Aiden is the one at the front, when I come in and he’s always given me great service.
I adore breakfast foods so the 11pm to 11am breakfast is amazing!
In reply to the other reviews, I grew up with Whataburger in Texas, and a longer wait than other fast food places is very normal/expected of Whataburger no matter the location. Not that it will always be slow but 10 to 15 minutes is very normal. I would say Whataburger was always more of a “fast casual” than fast food to me. Sit down and smell the roses a little, lol. This location’s sit-down area is always clean and has different types of seats you can choose from.
Pretty much nothing is precooked before you order, unless it’s super busy expect that they cook all of your food as you order it. Nothing is precooked on a heater. If this is a problem for you, I would highly recommend the app! The app is very easy to use and the points you get are nice! Just order ahead of time then make your way to the restaurant.
