Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Extremely slow service at the drive-thru. The cashier spent at least 10 minutes chatting with the vehicle in front of me after handing out their food. The line backed up all the way to the street, and they didn’t seem to care at all. People use the drive-thru for quick service, not to sit and wait while employees chitchat.

I stopped by for a quick bite on my way home, and everything about this visit was fantastic. The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what I needed. The employee who helped me was absolutely pleasant and welcoming, making the entire experience even better. I asked for his opinion on the menu, and he gave me an honest, helpful recommendation that I really appreciated. It’s hard to find people that will give them your opinion about the menu. I love honesty! What stood out most was how far he went above and beyond. He took the time to tell me about the rewards program. Something I didn’t even know existed. When I had trouble getting it to work before leaving, he patiently explained that I could add my visit later once the app was set up. That level of care and attention made a huge difference. Employees like him are the reason customers return. I was extremely satisfied with my visit and will definitely be back.

1st time eating at this burger joint and I must say, surprisingly, it was better than I thought it would be considering the menu looked like a reworked version of Sonic’s. I loved my Strawberry Milkshake and the patty melt was really good and cheesy. I give this joint an 8/10. The server was nice and polite and the place was clean and odor free. I would recommend this spot to someone looking for a good burger joint

Food took forever to get slowest service I have ever received actually nearly an hour and half wait. The drinks were flat and the food horrendous. The hash browns were soggy and wet in the middle. The fries were cold the burger buns were hard. I don’t recommend this location food was sickening. The slowest place to get food by far I wish I was just exaggerating. I included a picture of a weird empty hash brown.

I had to check out South Carolina’s first Whataburger, and honestly, it was pretty underwhelming. With all the hype surrounding it, I expected something special, but it looked and tasted like they grabbed food from McDonald’s and just slapped some Whataburger branding on it. The one bright spot was the customer service, it was definitely Chick-fil-A level friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, great service couldn’t make up for the disappointing food. Not the first-time experience I was hoping for.

Went to Whataburger for Mine & My Husband’s Anniversary (Dating Anniversary) and The food and Staff was wonderful. The coffee was very good, none of that overbearing sweetness and the pear refresher was delicious too! The manager was so kind, he told us happy anniversary, took our picture and gave me a coloring book! We will definitely be back to visit and Dine in again.
