I ordered the turkey sub with pickles and Italian dressing added and it was delicious. They were very generous with toppings ,the portion was large and the ingredients were very fresh.

They also had fast friendly service.

AMAZING SUBS!!! If you’re a sandwich person, this is the place!!! Go inside to the elevator and down one floor. Walked right up and sandwich was ready in minutes. I tried the Italian Sub and 10/10 knockout. Italian dressing was homemade and the meats were incredible. I left beyond full and satisfied from all the flavor packed into my lunch. Huge menu so I will be back to try the other options. This place is worth the visit and the prices are great.

This is my favorite sandwich shop! I am a vegetarian and I get the veggie sub every time. I add avocado as well. They have the freshest vegetables and friendliest people. I could not recommend more!

So… Wow. One of my favorite things to do as a foodie, is find hidden gems and support local businesses. Well, this checks all of the boxes I’m looking for when it comes to a lunch spot.

I was simply looking at Google maps in the are of my work, and saw the name, “What a Sub”. CLICK! Ok, right down the street, I’ll go there tomorrow.

Like other reviews say, it’s literally in the basement of a random office building. As soon as the elevator opens, the wonderful smells delight the senses. I instantly got excited when I saw the place. It was busy, but there was no line. Dan and Kylie were super nice… The kind of people that deserve your hard earned money. I asked Dan what was popular, he said his favorite was #19. Genoa, cotto salami, w/capicolla pepperoni and ham. I asked him to make it the way he likes it. It was jammed full of greens, provolone, tomato, red onions and fresh jalapeños. Italian dressing and amazing bread… And I’m walking out in minutes knowing I’m holding a bag full of love.

I ate half. I’m stuffed, and it was the best Italian sub I’ve ever had in my life. At $12, I’m going to be coming here at least weekly as long as I’m working in Greenwood Village. Do yourself a favor, and put this one in your book!

Walked in, was a quite space but people looked to be happy. Have never eaten in Denver but was looking for a quick bite before testing. Was looking to grab a simple sub. The owner (poor dude, really !!) came in to find out the whole building had lost power over the holiday weekend! So his selection was pretty much devastated! He had a couple hot subs and a couple cold subs: warned everyone he only had a small selection! None of that stopped this Beast of a food server! I ordered a house special(surprise ME!) Dude is an absolute legend now he made me a meatball/ Italian hot sub it was amazing full of flavor and a generous side of spice. Just an absolutely delicious treat for a hidden gem of a sandwich shop! I can not wait till I can come back and enjoy a wider range of taste at this sub shop!!! Kudos man you Rock!

Love it here. Dan and Kylie are always super rad. Food is priced great for what you get.
Their lil thrifty spot always has some fun and tempting items. The breakfast burritos are my go to. They def make coming to the office something to look forward to.

I have the great benefit of working in office park where this is located! It is down in the basement level of the southeast building.

What-a-Sub is a regular spot to pick up a fantastic lunch for a criminally reasonable price. The selections are vast. The service is great. The food is really top notch. It’s worth a trip, even if you don’t work here. Call ahead if you’re coming during the busy lunch rush.

the only knock on this place is that it is not easy to find. literally no signs. but, it’s 100% worth finding it (it’s in the basement of the office building and down a flight of stairs once you walk in the building lobby).

top 3 sandwich I’ve had in 20 years living in CO

I got the pizza sub and the portions and prices are great! however, it’s just made on hoagie buns they bought at the store and they warm up the sandwich in a microwave and it didn’t even warm all the way through so the middle was cold and the cheese not fully melted… I’d give them a second chance and try a cold sub tho, I think theyve got good potential.
