We went in for a bite to eat awhile back when we were in Montgomery. It was honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a very long time! The food, the service, EVERYTHING about it was WONDERFUL! Their fried mushrooms and fried green tomatoes were scrumptious and serving sizes are huge! Phil and Jen took care of us and they were both extremely attentive, making sure everything was to our liking. We are looking forward to eating there the next time we’re in Montgomery, and are excited to find out they are building another Wharf location in Clanton, AL much closer to us! We HIGHLY recommend this gem for your dining pleasure! While you’re there, check out their Core Values displayed on the wall! It helps explain why this is such a wonderful place to visit.

Decided to give this place a try and wasn’t disappointed. Arrived right at the 4pm opening avoiding the busy dinner crowd. Service was welcoming and timely. Less than 10 min wait for the food to arrive for take out. Ordered fried shrimp, blackened bacon wrap shrimp, fried Mahi Mahi , gouda grits and hush puppies in which everything well seasoned and delicious. Definitely worth repeat business.

The staff was great and the food was hot and delicious! My daughter had eaten here once before and kept telling me to come. I’m glad I did! She had the shrimp & grits with blueberry lemonade. I had the seafood platter. The shrimp was plump and so tender. The shrimp & grits had the perfect amount of seasoning. The blueberry lemonade was so refreshing and served in a cold, frosty, large beer mug. It is rare for me to find a restaurant deserving of five stars, but this one does!

Got bacon wrapped blackened shrimp with garlic green beans and pita chips. While the beans weren’t that great, the shrimp was fantastic! Will get it again for sure.

Went this past week with my elder mom. We were greeted by Phillip. He was very welcoming, nice, and willing to help. You get a lot of food for the price. Everything was great. We ordered wharf platters and a starter. Atmosphere was nice and clean.

They were kind of still in the process of getting things opened and organized. We were in no hurry and placed our order. The person taking our order was very helpful and friendly. (You go up and place your order at the counter, then sit at your table). We didn’t know that at first, but she let us know what to do!
The food takes a little longer than some places, maybe because they were just getting set up, but the food was cooked, fresh to order.
The shrimp were a nice size, cooked perfectly! Snappy and juicy with a great crunchy batter.
The fried mushrooms were also amazing. The fried oysters had 3 fat, juicy perfectly cooked oysters, plus a tasty pile of smaller oyster bits. Very satisfying.
The catfish strips were a little small, but again, perfectly cooked, with the correct cornmeal breading I expect on my catfish!
Even the chicken strips on the surf and turf were yummy.
Service was so nice and everyone was friendly and made it a super pleasant experience.

Went today (Sunday) and everything was absolutely delicious! Our server, Shari, was so pleasant and made sure we were taken care of while we were there. The prices are worth it for the amount of food they give. We had fried green tomatoes, fish, loaded chicken, shrimp tacos, etc and it was all amazing. Will definitely be back to this location.

My wife and I visited the Atlanta Hwy location for lunch when in the area. We have never had a bad experience. Jasmine normally take our order and serve the food. She really makes our day with her kindness and professionalism. From the counter to the kitchen, everyone is great.
