Every. Single. Time. I go to this place they forget something in my order. Guy at the took my order wouldnt let me finish my sentence before asking me “anything else”. I got to the window and one girl was standing there picking at her fingernails and the other girl was just standing there aimlessly. I went one day and ordered 4 double cheeseburgers, I got to the window and the manager didn’t even know my order hadn’t been made, they told me to pull up to the first spot, watched 6 cars go by me, so I went inside and asked where my order was, while the manager was having a giddy conversation with other workers, she then was like “oh damn” so I still had to wait for my order of 4 double cheeseburgers, the most basic thing they make, to be made. This used to be the best McDonald’s in Asheville and now I hate going there.

We visited today Dec 20th 2025.. The first went through at 10:45 They said there was not serving breakfast so we left and came back at 11:10.. When we got there we did not notice they had everybody coming through the drive-thru pulled over.. We was there 20 minutes before they bring out a bag of food.. They bring the bag out forgot the frappe so I just wanted my money back.. If I would have waited for the frappe to come out the fries were not been any good… When the lady came to our door I asked where was the frappe.. She didn’t even know that it was ordered She couldn’t even understand what we were saying.. I’ll go into the store to get the money back cuz I didn’t want my food in two separate orders that’s not how I ordered it.. I’ll walked in nobody could help me.. The person that was trying to help me couldn’t understand and it took her 20 minutes to give me my money back out of the register.. It took over an hour for us to get out of McDonald’s parking lot on Leicester highway in Asheville North Carolina..

It took almost 1 hour for my order and still didn’t get it all and by that time the sandwiches that I did get were cold and not eatable. I was told they had other customers and didn’t have time to fix the rest of the food for my order and this was a manager telling me this. I was even refused for my money to be returned. It’s sad when you have 2 little kids that love there McDonald’s and I don’t think I will ever go back. This place should be shut down.

Just went through the drive through and like all the McDonald’s that apparently doesn’t do maintenance on their ice cream machine there’s “isn’t working right now”. You should literally judge whether a McDonald’s is worth going to on if their ice cream machine is working. If it is it means the employees actually care and do their jobs if it isn’t they’re probably a bunch of lazy people who don’t do proper maintenance, or sometimes I just think they are too lazy to serve ice cream. Anyway when I go through a drive thru and the ice cream isn’t “Xed” out of the menu and they don’t serve you then I don’t go back to that McDonald’s and I suggest everyone else does the same.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This McDonald’s location consistently offers the worst fast-food experience imaginable. The staff acts like serving customers is an unbearable chore, making every interaction feel rushed and confrontational—rudeness is the norm here, not the exception. Beyond the poor attitude, the service is inexplicably slow. Waiting 15 minutes for a basic order, even when the drive-thru line is short, happens every time. To top it all off, they are perpetually out of stock on basic menu items. Every visit involves being told they can’t make something because they are missing key ingredients. Save your time and your patience; go somewhere else where they appreciate your business and actually have food to sell.

So I ordered the quarter pounder with cheese meal it’s my go-to the meat is always supposed to be cooked fresh to order. That’s the McDonald’s standard I know because I used to be a manager at the one in Old fort and the one on Patton avenue. So today’s meal required me to pull up because they were “cooking meat” for my sandwich. I was actually excited because I thought wow cool I’m finally going to get a fresh sandwich because I’ve gotten several that word hockey pucks which makes no sense because quarter meat is not supposed to be cooked in advance. Well anyway my sandwich when I opened it up held it in my hand it wasn’t even lukewarm the cheese wasn’t melted and I knew something was wrong. Tear it open and guess what RAW!!! I just wish I could get a good meal out of this McDonald’s for real because I eat McDonald’s probably 10 times a week regretfully but I’m on the road all the time making deliveries so I eat on the go and I figure if it’s a restaurant that cares about McDonald’s standards they’re going to cook the meat fresh like they’re supposed to but they don’t. The fries were decent though today they were hot still and crispy a lot of times those are awful as well do better McDonald’s on Leicester highway we need you!

I know that it seems like such a simple thing for sauces to be an item that are missing from a bag or something as simple as apple pies to be missing from a bag, but when it comes to people paying their money and for the cost of living to be what it is and for the constant pattern of this particular store, never completing an order and absolutely having everything the customer asked for in a bag is starting to become a annoyance, when on the phone with the manager, they say well what do you want me to do about it my simple answer is do better, read the receipts boo. I’m tired of everytime I order anything from this location there is ALWAYS something missing from the order.

Me and my boyfriend went to McDonalds a few minutes before they closed. And we ordered large milkshake, along with other things. The lady gave us medium milkshake, and when I asked for the correct sized the lady told me “that’s generally not how things work when you order 5 minutes before we close”
