Dropped in twice in one week to try some veggies that looked great online and walked out an hour or so later super impressed each time.
These folks KNOW how to prep veggies, and oodles of choices. Like 10+ to choose from.
Salmon was smallish but excellent, ceasar very good, though turkey chili lacked a bit of spunk.
Highly recommended if you’re around Wall St.
Planning to come back gor brunch so me time…
Service was friendly, fast, and attentive—ideal for a busy lunch or dinner. Atmosphere is casual and welcoming (sunny, trendy, relaxed neighborhood energy with outdoor seating option), though it can get lively during peak hours.
Great go-to downtown!
Update 2nd visit; Westville (Wall Street) is not somewhere I can recommend. This was our second visit, and it will probably be our last.
The restaurant is very noisy due to all the hard surfaces, and even the chairs are uncomfortable, which does not help if you are trying to enjoy a relaxed meal. The menu also makes nothing straightforward. What should be simple dishes are unnecessarily complicated, for example mash with garlic, Brussels sprouts with mustard, and so on. I personally prefer a simpler menu.
We ordered a shared starter of mac and cheese, which to be fair was hot and exactly as described. However, the main meals arrived at the same time as the starter, which was not ideal. My partner had the salad, which he said was good, but it was far too large.
I ordered the breaded chicken but was served the marinated chicken instead. When I mentioned it, they did offer to change it, but by then we were already halfway through the meal. Servers should be checking in within a couple of minutes after serving to make sure everything is correct and that diners are happy.
Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and between the noise, the uncomfortable seating, the overly complicated menu, and the lack of attentive service, it is not somewhere we will return.
Service was great, Kendall was my server, she’s a burst of energy and warm hospitality.
