Great place for all day breakfast. Appreciated that the waitress closed the front door when she saw I was cold. Food was hot, fresh, well prepared, and of excellent quality. Ill be back!

It is always nice checking out local spots while traveling, so one of the nights we were in town we decided to stop by Metro City. We went later in the evening on a Sunday so there wasn’t a ton of people inside which was nice. Our server was friendly & quick to take our orders and get our drinks out to us.

The food was delicious! We tried the Brotatoes as an appetizer which were so good. We all enjoyed the main dishes we picked out as well, everything was cooked exactly how we wanted it and everything was packed full of flavor. The California pasta I picked out was a huge hit for me! The flavors were on point. I would stop by again if I were to be in the area again.

The location was cute, it is in a historic area of town and is along side many other local restaurants & businesses in an easily walkable street.

Hands down the best burgers and brunch in Sunnyvale. Everything I’ve tried so far has been amazing

Spaghetti, breakfast burrito, gyros, black and blue burger, garlic burger, steak and prawns, chicken Marsala, garden omelette, chicken nachos, tacos, and that Oreo shake… all legit!

We had the Belgian waffle and Veggie Eggs Benedict with the hash browns. Delicious! The portion size is large, and 2 of us comfortably ate this meal and were well fed! Angie, one of the staff members, was super helpful in helping us pick the dishes!

I have to mention that I loved sitting on the high tables under the sunlit roof section! Their high chairs are really sturdy and comfy unlike many other restaurants and bars where the dining tables are an afterthought and not super comfortable to relax and enjoy your meal or drinks.

Myself and a coworker were visiting Santa Clara county for work. I had seen good reviews for MC before we got out there and wanted to try it. We were not disappointed! It was a Saturday night so the area was hopping. The restaurant is nestled on a closed off cobble stone street in downtown Sunnyvale, which facilitates a laid back, party vibe. They had a DJ that really complimented the setting. The food was outstanding. I got the Metro City burger and my coworker got the California pasta. Frank (the owner) came out to check on us and was super friendly and personable. I like it when the owners/managers of restaurants take the time to interact with the patrons. Some might be afraid of what they hear…we only had good things to say. Next time I am in the area, I will be back!

There weren’t many people by the time I went to this place. I haven’t went for lunch at American sit-down restaurants except the ones from Vegas, but decided to go to one today. The place is very small for that type of restaurant, but it looks like inside. What really stands out is the theme of the restaurant. It feels like that I am in a rusted car show with a lot of crazy stuff going on there.

Anyways, let’s dive into the food. I ordered a San Francisco Burger, and didn’t expect to use regular sliced bread rather than a bun. Perhaps I didn’t fully read the description of the food? Despite that, it really tastes good especially the fries, which is the one I prefer eating. Probably because I like the crisps of them. The burger is good though.

I think that it’s appropriate to come to this restaurant at night based on a dark theme of a restaurant plus that it has a bar at the side. Maybe a lot of people go there during that time, but I guess I should come here during night time the next time I come back.

Great location for a holiday party! For our triathlon club’s year-end celebration, our 75 guests had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Frank was very flexible and accommodating throughout the process from planning our buffet-style menu and event layout, to setting up our video on the large screen tv, to letting us arrange tables, audio equipment, decorations exactly as we wished. During the evening, when he found out one of our guests is vegan, Frank offered to fix her some vegan burritos separately from what our buffet provided. The entire time, the staff were friendly and helpful, and everything went smoothly and exactly as we wished. There was plenty of delicious food (and believe me, triathletes are BIG eaters), many tasty options, and the staff even offered us take-home boxes so that every bit of leftover morsel was snatched up by our guests. Price-wise we found Metro City good value for the price and particularly for a nice restaurant on S. Murphy Ave. that we could make our own for a busy Saturday evening. Thank you, Metro City!

Lots of classic breakfast food options. Loved our brunch here on a Saturday morning. Crab cake eggs Benedict was awesome. Also the Belgian waffle and chocolate chip pancakes were really good. Located in Historic Murphy downtown Sunnyvale, the environment in which the restaurant is located is lovely.

2nd time at Metro City and I must say, top 3 of the best spaghetti and meatballs I’ve ever had!!! Made to absolute perfection and full of delicious flavors. The Cesar salad and croutons hit the spot! I love the staff and loved that outdoor seating was an option. A must try if you’re in the area!

MetroCity is the best! I love the staff. I love the food. They all have big hearts in how they run the restaurant and its values. Please come by and bring the family for a great time in Sunnyvale. You’ll be in for a great treat. Every time I have dined with MetroCity it has been a memorable experience with my great friend and brother Rak. I love you all
