They do have an extensive bar options but limited on beer options.
Plenty of seats and seem to be well staff.
It was a slow Sunday afternoon so it could be better on alternative days and food options.
Overall a good place to visit and try it out.
Absolutely best French onion soup my wife and i have ever had TBone and potatoe hit the spot perfectly 10 outa 10
Yesterday evening, I picked up a carry-out order shortly before closing time ( supposedly a New York Strip steak meal). After i arrive back home after an very long day with my meal, I receive a call from the restaurant asking if i was coming to pick up my meal, and i respond telling the person that i had already picked it up, but let me check it to make sure that i have the right meal. That’s when i notice, that i have a half slab of ribs and 3 shrimp. So tell the lady, no i have the wrong meal. But, im not going to be able to come back out tonight to return it because its cold, im tired and they would be closed by the time i got back there. So she say ok enjoy your meal and hangs up before we could discuss other details…
So, the meal I received… I really don’t care for Westpoint ribs, so i didn’t eat the ribs, i only ate the 3 shrimp (because i was hungry), which were not the greatest in taste, but whatever..
So today, I return to Westpoint, with the food (minus 3 shrimp), explained the situation to the cashier. She rudely and loudly reprimands me at the front counter, telling me that it was my fault that i didn’t check my carry out bag (which was tied when i picked it up), insinuating that i was scamming. This woman had the audacity to ask me “what happened to the 3 shrimp”?…smh
Lady, i was hungry after an extremely long Sunday.
After rudely mumbling something under her breath, she tells me that she will replace the meal and continues to babble on about how expensive food is. They did replace the steak meal, which i ended up throwing away, because i didn’t trust eating it after the interaction with her.
But, the service that i received was unacceptable. I paid for a meal, and believe that i should receive what i paid for without the disrespect, attitude or insinuation of deceit.
Only a few tables occupied on a rainy Friday before noon so getting seated was no issue.
The decor feels more American or maybe Italian/Greek restaurant. Lots of booths with high backs, several tables I the middle.
Went with a pulled pork sandwich which comes with, unusual in my experience, coleslaw, lettuce and tomato on it (I took them on the side) and fries. Never understood the idea of coleslaw on a sandwich.
The fries were hot & unsalted (thank you!), the pork tender and lightly sauced already. The sauce is rather generic and there appears to be no spices added to the meat via rub or other preparation or during the advertised 14 hr cooking time. Nothing wrong with that, just saying.
The slaw was good, too, but similarly unseasoned save some poppy seeds.
And finally, no country music. In fact, no music at all.
