I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that Westgate served breakfast, but I knew I had to come check it out. Everything on the menu sounds delicious, and the drink specials make it even better. One of my new favorite Sunday brunch venues.

This is what I would call a dive bar. It is a fun place to go. They have karaoke on Friday (I think) and it’s a nice party atmosphere. People are close knit but friendly to outsiders. Pub food and good beer. Great burgers. I recommend it.

My husband and I went here for dinner, and it was karaoke night. Our server was very prompt and attentive. Our food was delivered quickly and was very tasty. Place was pretty packed, and we enjoyed our time spent here. Want to go again on karaoke night!

My wife decided to put names in a bowl of places we never had been to and give them a try, this was my first pull. We were not disappointed one bit. Her pizza and my bacon Bleu cheese burger was awesome. We also tried the king combo appetizer platter. Everything was great. Wonderful neighborhood place, we’ll be back for sure.

Fantastic local bar with an amazing atmosphere, cold drinks, and a large menu. Food was fresh with large portions – we had the Rueben, Prime Rib French Dip, Taco Salad, and Turkey Avacado Wrap. For appetizers we tried the breaded mushrooms and Double Baked Cheese Bread. Everything was great and the staff were super attentive even when it was busy!

Not the best experience this time. My family loves coming here and have been for years. Got takeout tonight , told it would be 10 minutes till my order was done, showed up about 15 minutes because they looked pretty busy. Got there took a while for anyone to even say anything to me, had to say excuse me. But this is how my meal looked the fries are cold and underdone/ soggy (and black?) and my wrap was completely ripped. Also never got the extra ranch I paid for.

The food was good bar food. Service was a bit slow, but it was friendly and they were doing good. My pop was watered down from the amount of ice they added and the fries were under done, but hot. The burger was good, and big enough the bun was toasted and the toppings seemed fresh. Lots of TV’s, pool table and outdoor seating available. Looks like a dive bar, but the food is a bit better.

Wood burning stove is a joy in cold months, and you can sit out on the patio when it’s warm. The food is excellent, and its a bigger menu than you might guess, with daily specials. They are very popular on the weekends. Several large TVs, and plenty of parking.

I really wish I’d gotten a picture but it slipped my mind! My hubby and I are in Lansing for our honeymoon and decided to check this place out. It was pretty steady but we didn’t have to wait too long . There was only one waitress (Alexis I think) but she was really sweet & I liked her a lot . She really handled everything with no problem. We got the Mac n cheese bites and pizza puffs , I got the chicken quesadilla & he got the western burger . Everything was very good! Best Mac& cheese bites I’ve had. Waitress mentioned they cooked the grilled chicken fresh for every order & you can definitely tell. If we lived here, this would definitely be a weekly spot . 🙂
