Stopped in with some friends for some dinner and drinks. First time here and will definitely be back. Had the Sicilian Pizza. It was delicious. Love a pizza with good mozzarella on it. Love to try many more things on the menu!

We went around 8pm on a Sunday. It was relatively empty, but the atmosphere was chill. The food was decent. The wings were on the smaller side and they were a bit expensive. The waiter was attentive of our needs and kind!

Fantastic local bar with an amazing atmosphere, cold drinks, and a large menu. Food was fresh with large portions – we had the Rueben, Prime Rib French Dip, Taco Salad, and Turkey Avacado Wrap. For appetizers we tried the breaded mushrooms and Double Baked Cheese Bread. Everything was great and the staff were super attentive even when it was busy!

The King Sample Platter is huge! It Feed 4 people while waiting for the Chicken Alfredo with bacon added pizza. Even though the bartender was our waitress as well, she did an amazing job checking on us and getting our food and drinks.

I didn’t order any food. The atmosphere was awesome. The place was packed for karaoke. Lots of laughs. Oh, and the beer was cold, so there is that! Highly recommend stopping by for a good time.

My wife decided to put names in a bowl of places we never had been to and give them a try, this was my first pull. We were not disappointed one bit. Her pizza and my bacon Bleu cheese burger was awesome. We also tried the king combo appetizer platter. Everything was great. Wonderful neighborhood place, we’ll be back for sure.

The Westgate is a great place. Although it is a little small, the staff and food make up for it. Beer is always cold and the regulars are fun to chat with. Never a bad time.

People keep telling me this is a hidden gem of Lansing, but it’s really not. First time was so bad I figured it must have been a fluke so I went again. Turns out bad food, terrible service, and a horrible atmosphere are just part of the “charm” here. With all the good food places in Lansing I highly recommend skipping this place. Other patrons are loud and constantly throw around profanities.
