I am very reluctant to give average rating on food but a couple of our dishes deserve it. The good news is this can all be fixed for future customers but it will take a little effort. The good! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Atmosphere was pleasant. Price did not break the bank. Now for the food. Appetizer, jalapeño poppers,,, straight out of the freezer. Shrimp platter,,,straight out of the freezer and heavily breaded. Fries soggy and had been setting for awhile. Now the good! Salad bar,,,excellent. Baked sweet potato,,,excellent and the steak was also good. Now for the effort,,,if it’s on the menu the chef or cook should make the effort to have fresh products for their customers. We will visit again. Every restaurant can have a down day! Maybe next visit they will up their game!

Western Sirloin is one of our longtime favorites. The salad bar is a must-do and it has a wide variety of options. My wife had the Pork Chops and I had the Sirloin steak. My steak was seasoned well but was a bit tough. The Pork Chops were very good. This continues to be a great option while visiting Moulton.

This was our first visit today, passing through Moulton. Absolutely the (best steak and grilled chicken breast) we have ever had. Cooked to perfection. Everything was fresh on the salad bar. Hostess greeted you with a smile. Our waitress (Mendy) had excellent customer service. We live an hour away, and will (definitely) be back. THANKS MENDY!

I visited Western Steakhouse in Moulton for lunch. The atmosphere was laid back, and the service was friendly. I ordered the steak sandwich with onion rings, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. It came with thick chunks of steak on a bun, which wasn’t really my style. I probably should’ve gone with something else or tried the salad bar, which looked fresh and well stocked.
Everyone else in my group really enjoyed their meals. The burgers, pork chops, and fish all got good reviews. It seems like there are plenty of solid options on the menu. I may have just picked the wrong one for my taste.

I stopped in last night. It was my first time eating here. It was great. Salad bar was very fresh and tasty. The sirloin was cooked exactly as it was ordered and it was also tasty. I highly recommend the onion rings. They were fresh and there were so many I could not even eat them all after I filled up on the salad. Service was fast friendly and with a smile. I highly recommend eating there if you find yourself in Moulton.

Drove up to the area to drop Christmas presents off for foster kids. This place was recommended. Everything was OK and we enjoyed the place. Then the steak came. I like a slightly salted steak. Someone prepping or cooking was not paying attention or was really MAD that night. The steak was so OVER salted it was almost at the point of being uneatable. The server never came to the table to ask how our meal was. So I had no chance to explain what I was delivered. Bad first experience. BTW, my wife’s Chicken Kabob was to her liking and good!! Coleslaw was excellent. First steak restaurant I have ever bee to that did not serve beer.

We ordered a ribeye and a delmonico, the delmonico was the same exact size and thickness as the ribye despite the $4 price difference. So that really made me feel as if I was ripped off.
The onion rings had a ton of dry powdered flour inside them making them non edible.
Jalapeño popers were tiny and filled with cheddar cheese instead of cream cheese and no bacon, they were also way over cooked and overpriced for 5 tiny poppers.
Will not be returning here as the food was very mediocre.

First time here. They were pretty busy so it took a little while to get our food. Food was really good. We had a steak sandwich, onion rings, hamburger steak, and fish. All was really good!!

Visited for the first time about 3:30 pm on Sunday afternoon. When we walked in it was very dark and the lady at the front didn’t welcome us very friendly. She ended up being our server too. We were taken to a back room where there were fans going which was a definitely a red flag. Employees were eating at a table next to us talking about how bad their tips had been. One employee was talking about how her cash drawer was 62.00 short and she didn’t want to have to give the boss that money because “he has enough”. Not a good thing to talk about when you have customers with in ear distance. Before we ordered we came close to just leaving. We both ordered ribeye steaks. When our food came out I had never seen such a thin steak. Definitely make sure you order the right steak. For our steaks to be less than an inch thick it was cooked right. We ate and got ready to pay. Was given the ticket. And waited on the server to get the payment. I went to the restroom while my husband paid. I noticed our server sitting in a booth talking to other employees. My husband had to motion to her coworker he was ready to pay. And then she came back. Boss needs to take a good look at employees. Probably won’t try this place again.
