I went for one if their Saturday afternoon wine tastings. They are held from 2-5 p.m. It was great! The atmosphere was relaxed. The people attending were very friendly and warm. The Hays family were knowledgeable. And the selection of wines offered was extensive. They also had a number of novelties on display and for sale. Signing up for their mailing list will get you advanced notice of the wines available for the tastings.

Western Reserve Wines was recommended to me by family members who live in the area as I live out of town and wanted to send 6 bottles of champagne for a wedding gift to a couple in Shaker Heights. I was absolutely blown away by their customer service! Within minutes of placing an order on their website I was contact by Tracey who had read my note explaining that this was a wedding gift and asked if I would like for them to include a hand written card with the delivery. They didn’t stop with the hand written note and went above and beyond by packing the bottles in special white carriers topped with silver bows. I can only imagine the kind of personal help they give to their in store customers if this is the kind of extra special care given to an out-of-state on-line customer. Looking forward to stopping in when we are in Solon for the wedding.

I purchased three four packs of Galipette Cidre Organic Biologique and received it in less than 24 hours. When it arrived I was astonished at how meticulous the staff were at packing each individual bottle in bubble wrap in their own boxes and then in another box surrounded with packing peanuts. After this experience I will be a regular customer of WRW!!! Highly recommend this store.

Good selection. Very retail oriented…think big box store…help you find the product you’re looking for and offer a couple options at a certain price point. Very little knowledge about the individual wines or professional reviews. Buying on-line is easier…i.e. show me Syrah’s less than $25 that scored 91+ points from Northern Rhone…but slightly more expensive when shipping is factored in.

We go here for the Saturday wine tastings. They are so friendly and knowledgeable, we always leave happy and excited to try whatever we buy. The wine of the month club they have is a super fun way to learn more about wine, including aging and pairing with food. They also have multiple price points depending on the budget.
