We went to Village Hibachi for lunch today after not visiting for quite some time. It used to be one of my favorite spots, so I was really looking forward to it. We all ordered our usual—Chicken Teriyaki. The chicken and vegetables were just as good as always.
Unfortunately, the rice was a major letdown. It doesn’t seem to be fried anymore—just plain rice with minced onions and carrots, missing the seasoning and that classic hibachi flavor. It completely changed the meal, and not in a good way.
Headed home now to brush my teeth and get that taste out of my mouth. We’ll consider coming back if they return to properly grilling their rice.

Was hoping for better based on 4.8 stars but I guess for the middle of Arkansas, this is as good as it gets. People were friendly and food was delivered quickly. All a good start. But overall, everything felt frozen and reheated. Gyoza, from the freezer. Fried rice, bland with no flavor. Steak, edible for a very low grade of meat but cooked well. Unfortunately very little taste. Surprisingly, the shrimp were actually delicious so good work there! I really really wish it would have been high star great but just average.

An unexpected delight. The table service was friendly & prompt. The food was not only amazing in flavor & portions but the presentation was 5 star. The atmosphere would never lend you to think it was first class dining.
Unfortunately no beer or wine service, but clearly a local haunt because the place packed & we quickly realized why it’s such a fan favorite. A must do place to experience when in Hot Springs Village!

The sushi was so good! Honestly I was shocked at how good it was. Staff was also friendly. It was a little weird to order at the counter and then sit down. I figured it would be a true hibachi atmosphere but that wasn’t the case. However the food was awesome.
