The food is good and well proportioned for the price. Everytime I went the place clean. They waitresses made sure that they taken care of you, rather it’s checking on you to see if the food is satisfactory and that you get refills without having to ask.
Usually come in an get the Omni omelette meal which is a three egg omelette with sausage, bacon, ham, onion, green pepper and cheddar cheese along with a side of hash browns and two slices of toast. I had black coffee for a beverage.
I highly recommend this place especially because of the nice atmosphere to match with the great food and service. I have been there at least three times before and plan on going back again some time soon. They have a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals and specials to choose from.
The bacon cheeseburger had crispy edges crispy bacon a fresh tomato and a soft pillowy bun. French fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also had some fried pickles with ranch dressing. The fried pickles were nice because the batter was really thin often times the batter’s so thick you can’t even taste the pickle this was not the case.
I was absolutely thrilled with all of my food it was tasty, it was fresh and hot, the place was clean, and the service was friendly I would go back any day and I would recommend them to anyone.
Don’t let the unassuming location fool you! WESTSIDE DINER, tucked just off the highway near Off I-75 at exit 117B, is hands down one of the BEST burger and shake experiences I’ve ever had. This place is the definition of a hidden treasure.
The Burgers? Phenomenal! We’re talking about juicy, perfectly seasoned patties cooked to absolute perfection (I went classic cheeseburger, and it was heaven!). The beef tasted incredibly fresh and high-quality, not greasy or bland. The bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together without getting soggy. Toppings were crisp and generous. You can taste the love and attention in every bite – far beyond typical roadside fare.
The Shakes? UNREAL! Thick, creamy, and bursting with real flavor. Cherry/strawberry shake tasted like it was made with premium ice cream and real ingredients – none of that artificial syrup nonsense. It was pure, nostalgic milkshake perfection, the ideal companion to the burger.
But the STAR is the Service! Walking in, we were greeted with genuine, warm smiles like we were regulars. The staf were incredibly friendly, efficient, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. They offered great recommendations, checked on us without being intrusive, and had our food out quickly despite it being fresh-made. It felt like a true “mom & pop” hospitality that’s so rare these days, especially at a highway stop!
The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and exactly what you want – unpretentious and focused on delivering amazing food with a smile. The prices were more than fair for the exceptional quality and portion sizes.
Final Verdict: If you’re driving anywhere near I-75, do NOT miss WESTSIDE DINER. It’s not just a pit stop; it’s a destination. Fantastic, crave-worthy burgers and shakes served with outstandingly friendly and attentive service. This place deserves all the success in the world. We’ll absolutely be making this a regular stop on all our future trips! 5/5, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
If I was the owner, I’d be reevaluating my staff. Rude and absolutely not welcoming.
I had an incredible experience at this classic American diner! Our server, Carol, provided outstanding service. We enjoyed the pancakes and cinnamon French toast, which were both delicious, along with perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, and tasty sausage links. The diner exudes a wonderful 60’s and 70’s atmosphere, complete with a jukebox playing all the hits. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nostalgic dining experience! Breakfast for 2 was $20!
